Medical Board Investigates Second Anna Doc

TMZ has just confirmed the California Medical Board is conducting a formal investigation into Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, Anna's psychiatrist who prescribed numerous drugs that Anna ended up taking.

Eleven drugs were found in the hotel room where Anna died, all prescribed by Eroshevich. Eight were prescribed to Howard K. Stern, including chloral hydrate, the drug that was the most direct cause of Anna's death.

This is the second Anna doc who is being investigated for prescribing practices involving Anna Nicole Smith. The Board is also investigating Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, who prescribed methadone to Smith under an alias when she was eight months pregnant.

Last September, just five days after Daniel died, a document shows that Dr. Eroshevich sent Dr. Kapoor a prescription wish list for Anna, which included methadone, Soma, Dilaudid and Lorazepam. Kapoor has said he did not fill the prescriptions.

16. She should be stripped of her license to practice. She is a drug pusher. And all of the other psychaitrists out there who prescribe so careleaaly as she does should be punished as well. Thousands of other die just like Anna, because shrinks think these drugs are safe.
I don't belive in Scientology, but they are dead-on when it comes to psychiatry being the most dangerous thing that ever happened to the human race.

17. Great news!!! It's about time she is investigated. Maybe justice will prevail for Anna Nicole.
I just had a feeling that this case was not closed for good. HK$ is being investigated behind the scenes also.

19. every physician on every news show, including Dr. Michael Baden (forensic ME expert), said that the amount of drugs prescribed was "out of control". As a doctor, how would you even begin to give instructions on how to takes these meds when a few of them were in the same category, ie;anti-depressants, pain meds, etc?

Why do you say in this article:
...... drugs that Anna ended up taking.

Do you, TMZ, rule out that someone forced those drugs into Anna? Perhaps holding her nose to make her swollow drugs while she was unable to take meds?
Why would you assume SHE took the drugs that ended her life?

22. Anna was a grown woman, if she took Stern's pills then that was her own fault. Don't try to make it seem like he tied her up and force fed the pills to her.

27. Isn't it illegal to give your prescribed narcotic to someone else? So if a prescription is in Howard's name, is not illegal for him to give it to Anna? Therfore, he has committed a crime.
