Joe Francis"Girls Gone Wild" video kingpin Joe Francis lashed out at a Florida judge after refusing to surrender to authorities on a contempt citation, which may end up stripping him of his freedom!

Judge Richard Smoak ordered Francis into custody after settlement talks with seven women (who were minors when Francis filmed) took a turn for the worse. Lawyers for the women claim Francis threated them during negotiations. Joe told the AP that the judge "had lost his mind," adding, "This judge has gone so far as to call me the devil and an evildoer. It is a case of a judge gone wild."

Francis' lawyers have appealed the court order, which would send the 34-year-old millionaire to jail.

34. There is no question that Joe Francis is a major scumbag, however a very rich one at that. He makes $30M/year from those moronic videos. However, what all of you are overlooking is that this case is in FEDERAL court, Southern District of Florida + Francis is defying a court order for contempt issued by a U.S. District judge! Federal judges are appointed for life + have unbridled power under the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure. In fact, the Court could enhance [Francis'] charges to a criminal felony by not complying. Comparing federal + state proceedings (both civil + criminal) are like apples + oranges. Francis' lawyers are total fools to challenge a U.S. District judge. Take it from me, NEVER mess with the feds, because it is a whole different ball game compared to how state cases are prosecuted! Anyways, if he does get jail time, he will be held in a Federal Detention Center (not a prison) for a very short time.

38. You know what there are always 2 sides of EVERY story. Besides i was in one of his videos and i totally don't regret it. He's male and has a lot of money so what if he's a prick... 43. This guy is a real sleaze. He is trying to villify a judge that is only doing his job, a job that he was elected to do. I actually live in Panama City, and will tell you that this judge is no redneck, country bumpkin who fell off the turnip truck yesterday. He is a very firm judge who is only upholding the law, the same law that we all have to obey . . . even Joe Francis. I will tell you that I witnessed Joe Francis in action at the local clubs and beach scene, and he is a scum bag pimp. He has no shame as to how he gets his product. I can't wait until he is in the local lock up! He will make a good girlfriend to a lot of the local redneck scums that Judge Smoak has put away!
