58. Warrant Issued for Girls Gone Wild Creator

The creator of the "Girls Gone Wild" videos is a wanted man.

The U.S. Marshals office in Panama City confirms a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Joe Francis, CEO of Mantra Films, Inc.

Last week, a judge found Francis in contempt of court after he threatened lawyers during settlement negotiations for a civil lawsuit.

The judge had ordered Francis arrested on Saturday if he did not reach a settlement in the case.

But the judge suspended that order after learning talks were progressing.

On Wednesday, the contempt order was re-instated after a mediator told the judge Francis had retracted a settlement offer.

Francis was given until noon on Thursday to turn himself in to U.S. Marshals in Panama City but filed for an emergency stay with the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

The court has not yet ruled in the case.
