This is a joke. I don't think I'll be watching Idol for the rest of the season. If this keeps up there is a chance Sanjaya could win the whole thing. Sony is starting to have some kind of an attack about it too.

All I can say is that all who dislike this freaky dude should team up to shoo him out of AI....as the show's title says: American IDOL----well this obnoxious guy (I mean girl) has no makings of an IDOL---unless for the blinds and deaf! Once it gets down to 5, of 6 Sanjaya doesn't stand a chance. It's a lot more difficult to get one fifth or one sixth of 30 million + votes than one ninth. Once Phil, Hailey and Blake or Chris are gone, all the people who were voting for them will be voting for Lakisha, Jordyn or Melinda, not Sanjaya.

That's what the show is about; voting by phone. I don't see the problem. He may not be the best singer, but he is a good performer and young girls(American or whatever) seem to go for him. Look at David Cassidy, Leaf what's hisname, etc. Get a grip, please. This is entertainment.

Howard Stern and his fans are keeping Sanjaya on Idol! The Indian community is probably just as embarrassed for him as I am because he can't sing and it's not fair that he's still in the competition.
It is really funny though!!! Can you imagine if the votefortheworst.com and Stern listeners get their way and he manages to get to the top two??? That would definately be something to see...
