61. In defense of Heffner, I have to say that it is he who is responsible for Anna's rise to fame. He paid her handsomely for the photos that his photographer took and he has the rights to them. It was her exposure in Playboy that led to her Guess jeans modeling contract, something she would never have landed had it not been for Playboy. He more than anyone has the right to publish a story about Anna, not ET... It was Playboy that made ANS. Heffner already paid her for these photos. - Heffner portrayed ANS with dignity and class. It wasn't until HK$ came along that she started being portrayed as a dufus, mouthy, low-life. That was $terns' doing. Heffner made ANS, HK$ destroyed ANS.

65. #1 None of the controversy over the baby or Daniel have anything to do with Hugh Hefner. Why in the world should he get involved in this thing with the baby.
#2 Some may think it is wrong for Hef to cash in on this. I would agree except that I know Anna cashed in on any situation wherever she could. She would do this herself if she were in the position to do so.
#3 People often say that Anna Nicole didn't do anything to deserve celebrity. Well, I remember those Guess adds and being inspired by them because she showed that you could still be beautiful and have an hour-glass figure. It gave me hope. If Hef want to pay tribute to that aspect of her contribution to the world, that isn't such a bad thing in my opinion.

66. Anna and Stern had a comittment ceremony during which she jumped into the water only 18 days after having a c-section, which put her in danger from an infection. Has anyone suggested that this was unhealthy/unwise on Stern's part for allowing it?

69. I agree with # 59. You will never hear anyone speak of Vickie in (a negative light) regarding her parenting. She was a single parent worked exptremely hard. It was never reported before (HK$) got into the picture that she went into such a depression, drugs, drugs, sold out to the likes of the Reality Show with (HK$) always managing her (more like pimping her). I do hope the Broward County reopens this case. Please don't close it before you do a thorough investigation. Listen to what comes out of the Inquest in the Bahama's, Oh that right (HK$) has appealed it. I WONDER WHY!!!!

70. Anna was no doubt a beautiful woman. She had a great start with Heffner and Guess jeans. She apparently was very impressonable and that is why HK$ was able to get his hooks into her and destroy her. Had instead, she met a nice man who impressed upon her some moral character and influenced her to pursue a healthy career and to develop real talent, perhaps gone onto acting school, if that was her dream, she may have gone onto astounding stardom. We will never know. Everyone has a crossroads in their life to where they take the high road or the low road and much of that decision is based on our own self-esteem and those that are influencing us at the time.
