31. I don't know many of the details of this case, but from what I understand from MSNBC new and Fox news and such, the women were assaulted (they claimed to be anyway). They said on those shows that the "assault" in question was not actually rape. I am thinking maybe it was him doing things to make them feel uncomfortable, or touching them in an inappropriate way or something, I don't really know. But they did say that it did not mean rape.

32. Given the nature of industry, kind of people around Anand and the timing of this case, I believe this is a trap to bring him down. Why should someone like Anand commit rape when there are more at avail than he can handle out there waiting for a chance to meet him.

33. Wow. De Ja Vou. Reminds me of the accusers AFTER Clinton was elected President of the United States. Would have made a good story when he was Govenor of Oh well hell, it wouldn't have paid off as well until the Publicans wanted him out. He probably had sex with all pof them, but I bet the rent it was all consentual. They probably tripped him and beat him to the floor.

34. They never said ALL of these women were raped! They said Sexually Assaulted. Being Sexually assaulted isn't an easy thing to Bring to the light. They may have had alot of respect for this man and couldn't believe he assaulted them.So when the frist women came forward it gave these other women the courage to do the same. If they are lying what did he do to make them turn aginst him?

35. You forget there's motive to lie-MONEY and a lot of it. People WILL lie for it. There were only 3 accusers in this case resulting in 87 counts. All discredited, but the guy still sits in prison and his kids are without their father.

I am glad to see in general folks perhaps are becoming a bit more skeptical towards this case...REMEMBER he is a public figure and you ALWAYS have to be leery of charges made towards Celebrities...this could easily be a Revenge thing on the part of the Girls...its easy to lie about Rape, but yet get people in Trouble for it...i've seen it happen several times in my life! So its definetly possible here!
I hope his name is cleared and he can go back to living a regular life!

40. All of these comments are so typical - the victims "should have" come forward sooner - if it was that important they would have pressed charges before now......

If any one understood what these women go through, maybe you wouldn't be so quick to judge. We're so quick to believe a man who has been criminally charged with 12 counts of sexual assault than to believe the stories of these women. It's not unheard of that 12 women wouldn't report rape - only about 1 in 10 cases get reported.

The court system is full of awful individuals like you guys that dictate what really happened by what "should have" happened. Maybe if something unfortunate was ever to happen to you, you'd understand that not everyone reacts in the same manner. Sometimes people are too scared to come forward, too embarassed, minors are afraid of what their parents will say, adults feel like it was their fault and the legal system compounds this situation by forcing women to go through the process again and again with a 1% conviction rate for rape.

Maybe it's those factors that led to a delayed report of the crimes. I'm not saying that this guy's guilty, but maybe we shouldn't all be so quick to judge the victims here (which also happened in the Duke rape case). The media attention forces these women to have to justify each and every action that they took after these assaults while everyone comes to the defence of the rapist.

I wonder if the next person raped will be so quick to jump at the opportunity to lay a rape charge when this is what they have to look forward to.

Good job at perpetuating every "victim-blaming" stereotype COOLGUY and Duffy Doyle. You should be ashamed.

41. I have read your comments and I am grateful that some of the people on this Board actually see that there are two sides to this story. Let's take the oldest alleged victim, Katie S. She went on TV in Dallas on Wednesday night after the DA said none of the "victims" want publicity. She claims that in 2002, she went to LA with her mom and sister. She claims that she was inappropriately touched when she was 14. She also claimed someone else did the same thing when she was 12. She told her mother that she was uncomfortable with Anand. Her mother advised her to loss his number and not contact him. Yet, according to her, when she was in Dallas, she allegedly snuck out of her house and went to see Anand at a condo. Therefore, she claims she was raped. Why would a girl who claims a bad experience with someone sneak out to see him again? She blames Anand for her failure as a model. She is now a nobody who is seeking her 15 minutes of fame. TV appearances are like a drug for some people. They get a false sense of accomplishment. She tried to file a report in Dallas in 2006 but the police found her not credible like the LA DA did for the alleged victim, Natalie P., in 2005, Count One. Many of these girls were contacted prior to making their complaints by other girls. The complaints were scripted. What are the odds of 12 girls who don't know each keeping silent about serious crimes? ZERO. What are the odds of 12 C List vindictive part time models coordinating a smear campaign that got out of hand? Very High! Each of these alleged victims have serious markers of deceit or false statements. Some admit they are great in entrapment, some are chronic coke heads, some have serious psychological issues, and most, are simply liars whose own conduct after these alleged assaults is entirely inconsistent with someone who has been raped. Rape victims don't make demos, try on clothes, fly to other cities with the assailant, and continue to contact them looking for work. Just as it is astonishing and incredulous that one 130, 5"4' man could over power these woman, you need to realize that it is equally plausible but astonishing, that 12 low grade girls would get together to and script false claims as old as five years. It is a sad comment of our society that anyone in this day in age would simply assume the accusations to be true. It is the sheer number of them that make them doubtful combined with the large amounts of EVIDENCE which contradict their contentions. I have seen the cattle call with woman in the past who jump on the false claim band wagon. Not all stale claims are invalid but the facts of this case are unique. Now that Anand's bail is not being tampered with or attemps to unfairly detain him pending trial have been defeated, I urge all of you to wait until you here the defense cross examination of each of these girls and judge for yourself. Their little model games will evaporate in front of an experienced advocate who knows more about the facts than some of the sound bite shot callers who are simply posting nameless posts. If you were really assaulted by my client, post your real name up here and stop hiding, it is gross! I am looking forward to June 12, 2007, the next day we will start to have some justice in this case.

43. I knew Anand for at least three years. I remember a couple of years ago calling me every day. He asked me to bring Michelle Rodriguez to him. Poor guy didn't know any of these celebrities. The fact that he's friends with them is not true. Anyone can pose with celebrities and pretend that they are friends. In Hollywood it is very likely that people do that.

I went to his apartment and he did abuse women. I knew some of them. This guy is so sick that he would fly to Texas and brainwash these girls--promise them the glory and he'll bring the girls to Los Angeles. Several times he told me to stay out of those girls because he said, "Those are my bitches. I pay the roof, food and I am paying their way. Just stay away from them." I remember the day he snapped at me for talking to a 15 year old at his apartment. I asked her what she was doing at his house and the guy went balistic on me. He told me to mind my own business.

They should be looking into the girl from Seattle, Washington. I am sure they haven't her yet. If someone in his camp is reading this, they will know what I am talking about. This guy is a sick as a cancer patient and needs to be put in jail for a long time.

Yeha, if i get raped first thing i'm going to do is continue to hang out with him, and ask for free jeans. Then sit back, watch him for YEARS with other women, and say nothing - until 2007 and cry rape.

'sexual assault' is a generic term. the cops could've just said 'did he try to make a move on you physically?' - 'yes? boom charge'

anand odesn't have money but HE DOES HAVE FAME. Which means books, tv time, interviews etc for the 'victims'. hell amber frey has a book out now! making money off laci's death.

Also i want to say i am glad you got a FAIR Judge that ignored the Prosecutions request to increase his Bail and let him out and gave him a chance
