32. to be only 17 years old, this young man has lots of grace and charm. I think he's smooth and I like his singing. He will only get better. The other finalists are certainly talented, but its just more of the same. Sanjaya is a nice breath of fresh air. I'm amazed at how well he handles himself on stage.

35. Sanjaya is a JOKE, I seriously dont see how ANYONE can think he is a good singer or a "cute" kid. He is ugly and has no style... oh and bushy eyebrows. He totally reminds me of Bert from Sesame Street. People who think he is anything but a joke are complete morons.

36. You know, it takes a LOT of guts to get up on stage and sing. Regardless of anything else, and he has ALL the guts to do it. Look, he's up there with the rest of him so as far as him being a "brother" to all HUMANS, support him don't knock him. For all the ones bashing him, lets see you get up in front of millions and yodel something. I'll make sure to bring a case load of tomatoes and unleash them ALL on you the moment you sound AWFUL! ;)

37. $5000??? I would ask for a little more...like say $25,000 since he's cutting his hair for a ridiculous look which will take time to grow out. Then if he's going to be a star in their commercial, he should get residuals for that too! They're going to make a fortune off of him (if he takes the deal) and all they want to give him is $5000???!! I hope he has an agent who can negotiate something worthwhile and keep him working because you all know he's going to get a couple of offers or more due to the fact that he's very, very popular. Especially with the tweenies!!

42. I saw Sanjaya on AI tonight and I have to say, he was pretty good, maybe it's because all the others are so boring. Sanjaya generates more interest for AI than any of the other contestant, he was the last one on the show tonight and Ryan seacrest introduced him as if he were the star of the show, "and now...Sanjaya". He was really good, I didn't think he was bad at all. I didn't think he was that bad last week either. Just think of all the money William Hung made and he didn't even get past the audition so Sanjaya should wind up a millionaire. Lets face it, whats it all about? just singing? no, its the whole package, Taylor Hicks proved that, he's not the whole package, he won, he's not selling records, any money he is making is on his tour and its not that big a deal anymore. Elliott Yamin and Chris Doughtry lost and they were much better and they are selling records, I think Sanjaya will sell a lot of records to the teeny Bopper crowd, they are the big spenders nowadays anyway, they love him, I don't trhink he will win but there is a good chance he will come in second and that means a record contract, if he came in 5th he would get a record contract so he's a winner already. I think everyone is jumping on the hate Sanjaya bandwagon and are afraid to say they like them even if they did. I don't get it, When these people go on tour there will probably be a lot of people going just to Boo Sanjaya, I think that stinks, the kid is seventeen years old for God sakes and people talk about hm as if he were deaf dumb and blind, I think he's handling that pretty well considering the rudeness he has had to put up with, if he is being voted for he has every right to be there, if Simon Cowell said "welcome to Hollywood" then he should live with it, he gave him a halfway decent review tonight , considering, all he is proving is that he doesn't know what he is doing, if he's that bad then why did he send him to Hollywood? I think Blake is going to win or Lakiesha or Melinda, but tonight the Letiesha and Melinda bored the hell out of me. I am not a young kid, I have kids older than those people but I have been around the block a few times and I think Sanjaya is going to be big long after the others have faded away, look at all the interest he generates, the producers of AI know that and believe me, they are playing it like a violin, they are playing us too. we're posting about himn aren't we, not Melinda or Blake or any of the other singers, just Sanjaya.
