33. I agree that people in this country are sue-happy, not wanting to accept responsibility for their own actions. Unfortunately, that is how society is being raised nowadays.
But, IF, and only if, her claims of poor lighting & no randrails on the steps are true, then DOND should be held liable. Handrails must be in place, that's just commom sense. Oops, what was I thinking? This is Hollywood!! Common sense doesn't live there!
As for all of you calling her names, you should be ashamed. Are you soooo perfect??? And what if, God forbid, she fell so hard it resulted in coma or even her death?? Would you still make fun of her??

41. Hmm... yeah I get tired of people suing for everything BUT it depends on what the real conditions were. If the lighting and the lack of handrails & the way the steps were setup (all of which the woman had no control over) were actually really dangerous then they should be sued. Also depends on how bad her injuries were. Now me I can trip over my own feet on a flat level area with no extra things going on because I have talent :) Maybe she is like that too? In which case she has some never even stepping outside her door and expecting other people to pay for it. But we have to see what the facts of the case end up being.
