If the Bahama laws are anything like the States, Larry will get sole custody and she will have to prove him unfit in court to get any type of guardianship....

Given the circumstances, she's going to have a hard time with that and if she's smart...she'll just work with hoping Larry will bring the baby to see her grandmother.

If not...well....it'll be hard to convince the Bahama's court she should get dual or sole custody...More than likely, they are going to probrably tell her to not interfere with him and give it 6 months before submitting a claim for custoy,he has a stable family for support and they will take those things in consideration....

62. As she stepped away from the microphones, Virgie clearly said "I just want to be her Grandma". That does not involve custody except in unusual circumstances. She just wants to be a part of her grandbabies life. Give her a break!

64. OK ,,If Arthurs only interest is to be a "GrandParent". Then why not file for Vistitation as opposed to Dual Guardianship. She it looking for something.!!!!!!!!! She needs to BACK OFF!!!!!!!

65. Larry is the FATHER and should get SOLE custody. What is wrong with that lady. All she see is $$ in that child. Why dosent' she go for DUEL CUSTODY OF ONE OF HER OTHER GRANDCHILDREN. What makes her think she can do it with this child.

67. this woman is NUTS! if Larry allows her to have any guardianship over the baby, he's just as crazy. Could she make her intentions any more obvious? She is a terrible person, and if her daughter thought otherwise, she would have been involved with her when she was alive....and she said she wants to be a grandparent, but her lawyer said at the podium that they are seeking dual guardianship...that's not being a grandparent, that's having legal interest in a child, which would include any money the baby could recieve.

70. I have grandchildren I am unable to have access to unless they are here with their mother. This is because I suspected their father was cheating on my daughter and I told her of my suspicions. It turned out he was a serial cheater with 17 women and gave my daughter HPV that ended up turning into cervical cancer. I can say without a doubt it is not the easiest thing to keep what I feel for him to myself but it can be done. I'm sure that all involved will somehow find the personal strength to include everyone as family to this little girl regardless. My prayers to Larry, Virgie, Danilynn and EVEN Howard.
