Wow, how refreshing to read a blog by someone who has a clue!!!

Virgie has thrown her hat into the custody ring only in the off chance that a judge awards custody to HK$$$$. Once a judge awards custody to Larry, Virgie will back right off of the custody thing.

90. I am thrilled with the results, but the idea that Larry will work with Howard depresses me.
If his erstwhile lawyer was right about anything, she was right about not dealing with the man -- not now at least.

Yet Larry stood at Howard's side...a 180 degree turn from how it was in Florida when he and Virgie took a joint stand. Virgie can't have been anyone's ideal of a mother, with the way her kids turned out (kidnapper, slut), but she has, at times, shown flashes of what Anna herself exuded, at times: a sweet likability for all her sins and faults.

IMO, the resocialization of the baby should be taken in steps. She belongs with her biodad, relatively quickly, and grandma should be given visitation rights. Then the parties should see how things go from there.

As for Howard, he may have bonded with the baby - I'll give him that - but he has only himself to blame for the pain he is feeling now (and I do believe he had something like love for Anna and Dannielynn -- look at how lonely his life is!). His "credentials" for future contact with the child MUST be reassessed when the inquest into Daniel's death and any other investigation into Anna's death are completed. We simply don't know whether he was a pathetic enabler or worse. As for any "deal" that involves money, he has forfeited his right to a penny of Dannielynn's money, even as executor. It is then and only then we will know whether his failure to mention money today was an honest move or a strategic one, made to restore his image.
