Virgie Arthur -- NOT Mother of the Year

We're told Virgie Arthur will be fighting for custody of Dannielynn, whether Birkhead is the dad or not. But when it comes to Arthur's track record in child rearing, it's pretty clear she won't win any awards.

Rewind to 1993. Arthur's son, Donald Ray Hart Jr, then 21-years-old, was busted in Conroe, Texas. But it was anything but an ordinary arrest. Hart was charged with aggravated kidnapping, along with three friends. The victim -- a 33-year-old paraplegic. The abducted woman watched in horror as her kidnappers waived a butcher knife in her direction, and discussed plans to murder her. An informant's tip foiled the plot.

Hart pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six years in prison.

But that's not all. Hart was also convicted of theft -- he pled guilty to stealing a bunch of livestock.

By the way, Arthur's daughter, Anna Nicole, also hated her. So is Arthur the best candidate for custody? You be the judge.

The paternal side of the family is equally as bad...I count at least 4 marriages and divorces with the old man not to mention the fact that his daughter Donna Hogan says outright the guy was a rapist/pedophile and wife abuser. Her background must have been embarrassing and when you do a little research and see the siblings living in homeless shelters, collecting welfare, having children taken away, giving children away, passing children around like they were a day old hotdog at a family picnic...it certainly was much less than healthy. I would hope Larry Birkhead never leaves the child Dannilynn alone with this family...let her come to the house when he chooses to see her and end it there. This is not about living in a trailer and so-called trailer trash per se but about criminals, drug addicts and liars.

617. No, No, No! Virgie go home and take care of your 5th husband. For heavens sake! I can't believe you were married 5 times. You can't take care of a husband, what makes you think you can take care of a child. Oops! You can't.
Be a grandmother, if you can. You don't see Larry's mother fighting for custody! Is it the money you are after? Maybe so. GO Home!
Dannielynn is not your baby. She belongs to Larry Birkhead.

618. Virgie is a good woman. Stop bashing Virgie. Who's agenda is it to discredit Grandma? It is not working Virgie is gathering more supporters.

619. I AM GOING TO GIVE MY OPINION,I THINK ANNA WAS WANTING LOVE FROM HER MOTHER ,BUT NEVER GOT IT,AS A CHILD VIRGIE SENT HER AWAY, VIRGIE CHOOSING A MAN OVER HER CHILD.WHAT KIND OF WOMAN IS THIS. DRUG USE GOT WORSE OVER THE YEARS,WHEN SHE LOST HM.WHEN SHE LOST HER SON,THEN TO HERE HER MOTHER SLAM AT HER ON TV.MAYBE THAT IS WHY SHE COULD NOT HAVE A TRUE LOVE HERSELF,THAT IS WHY HER LIFE WAS A MESS.AS FAR AS MR STERN GIVING HER DRUGS,PLEASE,THAT IS HER FRIEND THE WOMAN DR,THATS TO BLAME,NO ONE ELSE
