What pants. wouldn't you think that ALL the clothing Daniel was wearing when he died would have followed his body to the morgue (sp)? Perhaps the for his "act" Op just took a pair of Daniels pants from his bag and ta ta pills in pocket skit was off and running.

I just read the comments since last night, and I have to agree with RJMO, there was a little show put on for Shelley to watch with the supposed pills falling out of Daniel's clothes.

We need to keep squarely in front of us that so much of what we know about the case is from what Stern has said. He has used two techniques, telling the world himself in numerous interviews, and a more subtle method, telling someone else, and that person tells the world in an interview.

It would take time, but would be worth it to go back now and strip away all the Stern-said or Stern-told-me bits and see what is left.

I agree, if what we've heard about the so-called medical examination is true, it is incompetent and borders criminal negligence. How did they ignore so much material in that room?

It is as if it was agreed in advance by several parties that ANS' death would be treated as an accidental suicide from the get go. No investigation is needed.

I have questions about this: Why Daniel told the PI (Jack Harding) that he wanted to meet in a place different from the coffee shop AND he did not want M. to know they were meeting. Secondly, when the investigators went to Daniel's Calif. residence, they found a bottle of ZOLOFT in his belongings and the label had a former Smith employee name on it. Recognizing that a dr COULD HAVE prescribed zoloft to Daniel using a fake name; someone COULD HAVE planted it there to make it appear Daniel used the drug. I say this often because, initially wecht said the COMBINATION of zoloft and methadone was the cause of the lethal arrhythmia. I would like all drugs that were shipped to ANS investigated and ask IF the LIST of drugs found in Daniel's system could have been found in Anna's personal "pharmacy". Next, CH needs to be checked out, because it leaves the system REAL fast. Simply reading perper's autopsy report, a sedative that rapidly leaves the system and a therapeutic level of certain non-narcotic drugs (combination) was the cause of death.

I always understood JH to say that he met Daniel at a populer "coffee shop" when M. introduced them. He frequently "saw" him there afterward (in passing), but I never thought they were having business conversations until that one meeting

Daniel being a 20 year old American citizen, seems his state representative would be concerned about a constituent dying a sudden unexpected death in a foreign country, the Bahamian investigation warrants a report to the attorney general, but YET no inquest. Daniel was no one's CHILD (20 y/o) or property. He was no one's husband or father, so who is going to stand up for HIM?

13054. Should one believe Art Harris' article regarding GBT not being allowed to own property in the Bahamias due to past criminal record, one would have to believe wecht should not be allowed to do autopsies there either?
He is not on the Inquest witness list? Credibility?

I don't know why they would say Thompson can not own property. Doesn't he already own property in the Bahamas? Just another lie coming from camp OP.

Didn't the PI say Daniel thought or acted like he was being followed? This could be why not the coffee shop, or wanting M to know that they were meeting. Drugs in Daniels possession? By the time authorities got around to checking IMO, just has many things disappeared has appeared.

I think the entire thing was a set up. I don't know WHY they would take his pants off and not his shirt (remember the PI's card was found in his shirt pocket)

It would make more sense if his shirt was taken off in the ER than his pants.
It may have been HK$ pants and he was just "acting" like they were Daniels.

Not only that, but WHY would they give ANYTHING to HK$? He was not even related to Daniel?

I would bet Daniel had CH in his system also. Think back about the scene. It was reported there was vomit all over the room and then that was shut up.
All the signs were the same in BOTH deaths.

I believe that is why HK$ fraudulently had those grave deeds put in HIS name. If they want to press that issue, it was testified in court Anna PAID for them, but he had them put in his name. The funeral director said they never talked to or saw Anna until right before the funeral, so it is unlikely she had any idea HK$ had those put in his name. It was also VERY suspicious to me that many plots were purchased. WHY four plots? Why not just one? Anna had told the cemetery person she was burying Daniel in California. She had the attorney Scott make all the arrangements to take him to California and then all of a sudden HK$ said she was burying him there.

Next big question for me was if Anna loved Daniel so, WHY did she let him lay in that morgue for 40 days before she buried him? They told the newspaper they called her a number of times to find out what she was doing, but they could never talk to her personally.

13059. Why indeed! That is one thing I can not figure out. Why leave the kid laying in a funeral home for 40 days, while you jump ship with a snake. Especially when you porclaim he "was your rock". That should have been the first "red flag".

Why 4 plots? Part of the play. OP had to give the illusion (phoney commitment ceromony) that he and Anna were "together", and planning on living in the Bahamas happily ever after for all eternity. He had a plan and all angles had tobe covered. imo

No one could talk to Anna? wonder why? Could it be she was so drugged up, thanks to Dr. E, that she could not string a sentance together? If we are to believe what the nannies have said, what witnesses from the hospital alledgedly heard, Anna was "onto" the truth that OP alluded to at her funeral. She knew what had happened to her son and by whose hands it happened. She had to be kept quiet at all costs.

13061. I think there was and still is a lot of stage acting going on in this case. Holyweird at its best, Daniel should have went to the morgue in the clothes he was wearing, that stuff is usually handed to the family after the coroner takes the body. Wasn't there a claim that some pills were also found in the bed where Daniel was sleeping, then they claimed Daniel died in a chair. Too many inconsistencies and why no investigation, poor handling and disrespect for two people. And Howie has the nerve to say he cared about both Anna and Daniel, not likely. All makes me sick.

I think that RJMO may have been right when he said OP was acting. you are right when you say that OP tried to say that Daniel was asleep in the bed the pills were found in, when nurses have said otherwise. The only way to "connect" Daniel to the pills in the bed, was to "stage" a pill finding scene to be witnessed by Shelly. They found the PI's card in Daniels shirt, I believe it was said. So police kept hisshirt, but not his pants? Nice try OP. That bothers me too, card in Daniels shirt. Why would it not have been in his wallet for safe keeping, why his shirt, unless, he had shown the card to someone. Anna maybe. If he was affraid of OP, would he have taken the chance of showing him the card? Or did he show him the card to prove a point, to try and rattle OP?
