For the government and police of the Bahamas to turn on its back like a dog for Stern must mean someone of importance was involved. Someone had to be protected at all costs even if it meant perverting the natural course of justice.

13097. think Daniel could very well have been upfront with Stern on the way to the hospital. I can't imagine him saying, "I'm talking to a PI about investigating you," but I bet he would have that card so he could talk about Harding to his mom the first time they were alone.

I wonder what conversation they had when Stern went to get food? What was said when he came back?


I agree Legal Eagle~~~~What reason could he have for taking the card with him to the Bahamas?...other than to let Stern and his Mom know that it was time to "shape up" because he was talking to a PI. He wanted the meetings kept secret, so why carry the card around? I think it was another reminder to Stern of just how his (Stern's) life was about to change big time....with Anna having a baby with another man, and Daniel obviously trying to gain some control in his mother's life since he was becoming an adult. WIth the new baby to think of and her son trying to help her kick the drugs, he was in danger of losing control over Anna....IMO

13098. I am going to say this once and won't mention it again, I am not directing this comment to anyone in particular just my own comment. I am not and do not feel I am part of any group, insiders or otherwise. I have met a lot of really smart, very nice people on this thread who I have come to respect and admire. I believe there has been a lot of very good fact finding data collection and information sharing, most importantly an open forum to discuss all of the mysteries of this entire saga. Moving foward I will continue to remain focused, lets get to the bottom of what, how and why this all happened. More importantly lets see the justice prevail that Anna, Daniel and Virgie deserve as human beings.

Yes, the mouse will highlight in blue. pics do not copy well if at all. same with colored text. It turns black ink. Have fun with it . Cut and paste my directions and post in a "how to do" folder for future reference.

13103. Dink, I think if we were to psychologically profile Stern, what we'd see is a man who is a control freak. Didn't Birkhead even typify him as a control freak? And he was losing control of his world, with ANS having another child, with Daniel an adult, soon to turn 21 and under the "old" provision of ANS' will not under Stern's control if ANS died.

All he had left was the hope to get some of the Marshall millions and his 6% cut.

This is a man who had spent more than a decade as a go-fer, at ANS' beck and call every hour of every day, for little benefit. Some shoes? Couldn't be nice enough to make up for the years as her toady.

I think he may have been fleecing her estate for years, moving money and manipulating companies, to fill off shore bank accounts.

He would therefore have been terrified by the thought that Daniel had been talking to a PI. Stern could just imagine a sober and capable Daniel getting legal help and once the forensic accounting began, what would become of ol' Howie?

A nut job can crack, and then commit a crime, if they are losing control of their world.

13105. Legal....That is what I have always thought. IF Daniel got in that car and started acting like the MAN he wanted to be for his mother.....and Stern was taking him to visit with the baby that belonged to another man.....he HAD to see his world was in for some big changes. MAYBE this second child, with begging from her first child, would have been what it took to get Anna to wake up and straighten up her life. I cannot see her being willing to support ANY man if she were stronger. She did not even want the fathers of her children in their lives. Can you imagine a sober Anna providing for a grown man capable of supporting himself? I can't. She was too strong for that. Anna had something Stern needed, and Stern had what Anna needed...they were sickly dependent on each other and maybe Daniel was about to try and change that. HE of all people knew the inside story and, I would never call anyone a murderer without proof.......but Stern MUST have felt the changes that could very well be coming and see how they would affect him. Daniel might have come on very strong that night.......talking about the PI, etc. I don't claim to know all the legal issues surrounding this story....but common sense tells me a lot

13106. Something BAD happened to Daniel Smith. Even when a young person over-doses on drugs, they DO NOT usually die especially if they are in an environment where medical help is readily available. For Goodness Sakes,
Daniel was in a hospital where he could receive IMMEDIATE medical assistance! I want justice for Daniel Smith. He was a young man with a future ahead of him. He was not even given the opportunity to fulfill his dreams and expectations in life. What a SAD and unneccesary TRAGEDY!
Life could not have been easy for Daniel having a drug addict for a mother and a father with mental issues.

You are wrong. The e-mail was sent to several on this site. Return addy and all. It read exactly the way that it was posted on Friday night.

We have never dismissed the possibility of someone in the Bahamian government being protected. In fact we have talked many times about Shane Gibson being at the Hard Rock,.The unidentified man remember? We have even talked about him being the third person in Anna's room the night Daniel died.

Stealing ideas. It has been done before. People don't get mocked when they do or tossed aside. I don't recall Windi ever being accused of this. For someone that is just "passing thru" sure sounds as if you have "been around for awhile" to make these statements.

Please don't start any problems. We are just attempting to gather info. That is it. I really don't care who is who anymore. You shouldn't either.

Trying to catch up. Hope everybody enjoyed your fireworks and all had a Happy 4th! Got to see mine after a baseball game, luckily the rain held off even though in the last inning it started to "spit", lol.

Would like to weigh in with regard to "stealing ideas". I don't think anybody "steals anybody's ideas". We all have been on here researching, discussing and SHARING ideas for so long that at times things are going to be repeated by different people. And sometimes I think subconsciously we even use other people's words simply because we read it and we are on the same wavelength. Since we are here for the same purpose IMO naturally we have the SAME IDEAS, or SAME MINDSET as one another therefore we are going to say at one time or another the same thing that someone else has said. There have been many times where I had thought of something and wanted to post my thoughts and someone "beat" me to it, lol. As an example while I am trying to catch up I was reading the discussion on Daniel's pants, won't say what I wanted to post because I don't want anybody to think I "stole" someone's post but I will say that I agree with the poster who thinks that the "pills" were planted in pants that were not on Daniel's body, lol.
