Snoop, there it is! Snoop Dogg pleaded no contest in a Los Angeles County Superior Court today on two felonies related to arrests last year on gun possession and marijuana charges.
He was given a three-year suspended sentence -- so no jail time. Dogg has also been sentenced to five years of formal probation and 800 hours of community service. Coming soon to a roadside near you!
Snoop was arrested on October 27 outside Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, Calif. after police found a gun and marijuana in his car. He was then arrested on November 28 near NBC Studios after an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." Police say they found the rapper in possession of cocaine, a firearm and a large amount of marijuana. He was also cited for allegedly having a false compartment in his vehicle.

Snoop is the #1 OFFENDER of bringing the word "ho" to mainstream. I have found his lyrics personally GUILTY of that. Imus should be passing the microphone to Snoop next, so that he can apologize for degrading all woman with his filthy, unappreciated songs.
About 10 years ago, the late C. Delores Tucker, a politician, specifically demanded apologies from Snoop Dogg and Tupac for their sexist, demeaning lyrics. Not only did these 2 rappers refuse to apologize, but they then wrote a filthy "ho" rap record about her.
Now look, 10 years later, Tupac is dead and Snoop is still wrangling with gun charges and the legal system. When will these guys realize that there music is POISON.
I say let's put a lot of pressure on the major record labels (all of which all publicly traded) and demand that even their stockholders refuse to release such filthy music in the future. Though Imus was equally wrong, maybe the public will demand that this is the beginning of the end of degrading messages towards woman. I've SERIOUSLY had ENOUGH !

They arrest cancer patients for smoking pot for pain relief...it is all over the place,,, drunk driving,,,people get punished more for using racial slures then for packing guns and drugs...

Oh give me a break, you all whining that he should go to jail because he was pulled over with drugs and guns, yet this is EXACTLY the persona that made him rich, if he DIDN'T get arrested every now and then, noone would buy his albums, and the publicity for all this is orchestrated by the publishers, the REAL problem here is that American culture is pure garbage, but as long as it makes money it will be allowed to continue. Get used to it, money is god in America... Oh and I like the Bill O'Rielly comment, hes probably one of the BIGGEST media whores out there right now, yet he'll ride Snoops coattails on this one as well. This lack of American culture and values is what prompted the neocons to orchestrate perpetual war in the first place, and you all buy right into it.
