47. I'm not a huge Sanjaya fan, however, if you think for one minute he will not get a record deal with someone and sell hundreds of thousands of records and hit the top 40 you are mistaken. The kid has marketablility and he will be endorsing all types of prodcuts when Idol is over. Too bad his record deal won't be with Simon or Randy!

He cannot sing as well as the others. The only thing you can give him props about is
that he is a cute kid (kinda girlish), has great teeth, and a head of hair that can be
styled either as a woman's hair or a man's hair. How versatile is that? Don't worry
about him....he will have a bright and lucrative future no matter what.

Sooooo, the important thing is to be fair to the other contestants. Here's how we
need to unite to help Sanjaya off the show so he can get on with his Kentucky Fried
Chicken gig. Go to the website www.voteagainsttheworst.com and find out
what contestant to vote for based on region. Also vote for your favorite. This is
a great way to help American Idol return to what it is SUPPOSED TO BE.....A

56. Simon Cowell and others keep saying American Idol is a singing contest. If it were, you would have expert judges decided which contestant is best. AI is a popularity contest. That is why Sanjaya is likely to win this season. He is very popular or at least interesting enough to attract votes.

59. Hey # 47 and # 12 !! You think anybody cares that you wont be watching next year?? I"m sorry to say but I'm sure your absence will hardly even be noticed.. I for one am voting for Sanjaya...An American Idol is more then just a singing competition and more then a popularity contest.. Its a contest that is searching for the next American Idol.. IDOL = an object of extreme devotion. A symbol or object of worship.. I dont know about anyone else, but I dont see the words "really good singer" anywhere in the definition of IDOL...

I personally like Chris Richardson with Blake a close second....they also have 'charisma'......BUT so does Sanjaya

Jordin has a nice voice but it usually depends on song choice with her !!!!

I think Melinda and Lakisha have great voices but actually LACK ''charisma"

Phil has a nice voice..but needs more ''''personality'''' in his songs

I believe Sanjaya will be in the Top 4 (maybe higher)

Just my opinion !!!!!!!
