Lets Get This Party Started
TMZ Hooks Birkhead up With Stern!

Howard K Stern & Larry BirkheadAfter yesterday's paternity reveal, it seems that Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern had a hard time arranging a tete-a-tete between Dannielynn and Larry. Stern's people told us that Howard tried reaching Larry twice by phone to invite him over, but couldn't reach him. So Howard's camp asked TMZ to send word to Larry that he and his family were invited over. We did, and hours later Larry and his brood were at Howard's for an emotional but happy visit.

Sanjaya Could Win, Says "Idol" Music Director

Simon Cowell's worst nightmare could come true: Sanjaya Malakar could be the next "American Idol," if "Idol's" bandleader is to be believed.

"You know what? I think that he could win the show," says Ricky Minor, the show's musical director, to the New York Post. "He's got this huge smile, he's a handsome guy and is really likable. People are pulling for him." And Sanjaya may even be swaying Simon himself: On last night's episode, Cowell gave this assessment of Malakar's vocally slender but camera-devouring version of "Besame Mucho": "That wasn't horrible."

Imus Gets Hit Where It Count$

Don Imus is about to lose the support of some people that actually matter – to his bottom line. Staples, the office supply chain, is pulling its ad dollars from his show, as is the maker of HeadOn headache medication, after Imus' "nappy-headed hos" remark. What's more, Procter & Gamble isn't just pulling its ads from Imus' show, it's pulling out of MSNBC, which simulcasts Imus' radio show, altogether. But Imus, as the New York Times reports, has been losing advertisers for some time now, including AT&T in January and GM some time ago. The program has been generating over $50 million a year in ad revenue for CBS Radio and MSNBC.

Party Favors: Lohan Goes Wild -- On Camera ... Anderson Cooper: $50 Million Man ... Sean Penn Angers Hawaiian Locals with Vacation Spot

Lindsay Lohan might be clean and sober in her personal life, but in front of the camera she's diving right in to drugs, reports Entertainment Weekly. Lohan tells EW that she's set to star in a film called "Hippy," a "drug-addled world" created by director Chris Siverston, who directed Lohan in "I Know Who Killed Me." ... Anderson Cooper is in line for a big new contract from CNN, says Page Six, that will pay him a whopping $50 million over five years. ... Sean Penn has angered native Hawaiians by staying at Oahu's Turtle Bay Resort, which, as HollywoodInterrupted.com reports, is undergoing an expansion that locals claim threatens the coastline and desecrates burial grounds. "The idea that Sean Penn would pay to support what we've been protesting for 30 years makes me sick," says one outraged local.

18. #15, the comment's you made were not necessary. this is what fuels this whole racist thing. why can't we all just get along? the reason people in the public eye seek this attention is because of comments like this. let's just leave it alone, puhleeeze!!!

19. I believe it was totally wrong for Imus to make the remarks that he did. And whether his apologies/taking responsibility was genuine or not, he isn't the first to do this, and certainly won't be the last, unfortunately. Though I don't condone racism, I do think that there are some people (well know and/or not) that either consciously or unconsciously keep racism alive by trying to make something out of nothing. Don't get me wrong, racism is still unfortunately alive in this country, but some will take something so innocently said (though the Imus, Mel, etc. is NOT the case here) and make it into something negative, even when it wasn't meant that way originally. Many things are under so much scrutiny today (some need to be/some not) and sometimes it just gets way out of hand. If it's a legitimate case of racism or whatever, it should be exposed. But if it's not, people need to just get past it and stop trying to grab their five minutes of fame and/or to stay in the spotlight. Hopefully, this will make Imus and others more aware of how much of a impact their words have and do some serious soul searching for positive change. When someone makes what they believe is a joke to them, they need to look around and see the possible hurt they may be causing to another-which is no longer a joke, nor is it funny! But EVERYONE makes mistakes, and when they admit and take responsibility for what they have done, they need to be forgiven. And they need to be given another chance unless it's continues on a regular basis. There are many types of prejudices in this world, and some of the real well known and outspoken people could be working towards positive changes in all of them instead of just one or two areas!

22. #1 - Moe, Howard's got more pressing things to worry about. Like an eviction hearing and an inquest into Daniel's death coming up. This was only Round 1 for him, and he's off to a lousy start.

24. AI has lost all credibility to me. I don't watch it as religiously as I used to. It's like the judges don't want to be there so why do I?

25. Regardless, of what you say or think, Anna and Howard were people too! And whether or not you agree or disagree, it was "their life and their business" and it's not our place to judge others the way Anna and Howard have been judged.

ALL THE MEAN AND DEGRADING STATEMENTS PUT OUT IN BLOGS SUCH AS THIS PROVE ONE THING AND ONE THING ONLY.

"THERE'S A HELLUVA' LOT OF HATEFUL AND MEAN PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD!"

26. If Larry Birkhead is dumb enough to go into the lions den, perhaps he is the wrong person to have that baby. Truth is, with "custody" still an issue, he may not even get that baby. HKS is an evil man who should not be trusted under any circumstance. Unfortunately for him, he not only acts evil but also looks the part. He just looks evil and shady.
Birkhead should arrage to have the baby delivered to him in a neutral setting immediately. What's this I hear about Stern wanting a transition period for 1 month? The hell with that. The baby is 6-7 months old and will not be harmed in any way if she is turned over to her FATHER now, today, pronto. What good will come of keeping a hostage with its captor?
Get that baby away from Stern NOW. Go find somewhere else to be a barnacle.

28. You know, Don Imus has apologozed right and left for his assinine remarks, The man knows he is wrong and has offered to personally apologize to the girls on the basketball team. I agree his remarks were totally out place, Hoever the man doesnt deserve to be killed over this, when he is truly sorry. The public forgave Jesse Jackson years ago when he made racist remarks about Jewish people. THe same needs to be done here. If you look in the Bible it says that if you dont forgive, God will not forgive you. i agree that calling these poor girls "ho's" was terrible. But I dont think he was interntionally racist, Imus simplly opened his dumb mouth and without truly thinking said some stupid things, The man has paid enough. He is doing his part to remedy this situation. Leave it alone and forgive him. .

29. Larry is not in this for the money. If anyone can remember that far back he was fighting when she was pregnant saying it was his child. She was alive at that time so he wouldnt get any of that money. He would have been paying her child support. This poor kid will probably get the money and end up another rich Onassis kid remake. Its sad knowing she will always have this legacy over her. Best thing for them to do is move away and change their names but that will never happen.

30. I don't think that Larry did anything for money! He started this whole thing before Anna passed away, he just wanted to be part of his daughers life. HKS and Anna ran away to the Bahamas to keep the baby away from Larry. Im not going to watch AI anymore, its turned into a joke. Sanjaya sounded okay this week, but he is definitly NOT American Idol material..IMO
