1141. Man - you have got to see that video - I had never seen the Anna Nicole show - what a bunch of degenerates. Frankly if Dannielynn ever finds out how crass and grotesque Howard and Anna and Kim and the whole bunch of them were - she's going to have some serious self-esteem issues. I've had 15 years of working in residential treatment - and I'm telling you - kids who have screw-ups as bad as that for parents are really starting at a deficit. The best thing that could happen is for Larry to settle for 10 million and keep away the leaches and sickos that surround someone who might have money some day.

Think about all those mega-million dollar lottery winners who end up bankrupt and with a lot more problems than they ever started with. That's what's going to happen here.

1144. LegalEagle: Thanks once again for all the "filling in the blanks". There is one legal point about the birth certificate(s) you may have missed (which I did, as well, until this week). There were two (2) certificates, the original at time of birth, and then HK$ and ANS filed another in October (can be found on line). Filed within days of LB's first court appearance. This one did follow all the rules, except one (having to do with the witnessing attorney saying he had knowledge....) Were you aware of this?

1148. HKS's attorney did stop the auction. Too bad, Howard did't use means to help Anna's drug problem when she was still alive, instead of ferociously going after her material things($$$).
That is so sad to see him protecting the estate ($$$$), but did nothing but give her drugs to which eventually killed her.

"Dear Ms. Crier (and Court TV in general),

I must say that I'm very disappointed with this new smear campaign against Virgie Arthur. By your own admission when responding to an anti-Virgie/pro-HKS email, you said you would throw out some dirt or mud (I paraphrase) against Virgie. You then referenced the TMZ "article" of dirt that was dug up (maybe with the help of the new P.I. that was allegedly hired by Stern recently?) about Mrs. Arthurs ADULT son, thereby implying that Virgie is a bad mother. So by this logic, when adults do bad things, the mother is always to blame?

Have Lin Wood and that bully of a P.I. intimidated ALL the voices of reason? I know TMZ and Harvey Levin have been on a seemingly relentless campaign lately to smear Virgie while simultaneously singing Howard's praises, but I thought Court TV and especially you, Ms. Crier, had higher ethical standards and more respect for truth in reporting than the tabloids, not to mention a little, just a little compassion for Virgie Arthur and the pain she has had to endure from the loss of her grandson, and then her daughter. She's living every parent's (and grandparent's) worst nightmare, and she's doing it with grace. Plus, she has been VERY concerned about the safety and well being of her granddaughter, and understandably so.

One of your guests, Jane Weintraub(?) stated with such authority that Virgie never tried to make amends with Daniel. Is THAT a substantiated fact? Did Daniel even HAVE a falling out with his grandmother? Too bad that Ms. Weintraub failed to mention the FACT that Virgie Arthur raised Daniel for the first 7 or so years of his life. A convenient omission in light of the threats by Lin Wood and Co.

I hear the words "estranged....Anna's estranged mother" repeated ad nauseum by the media. Do all those who use the word "estranged" and who are so quick to pass judgement know that when someone is in the throes of addiction, s/he usually pushes away the very people who would want to help? PLUS, it has been reported that Mr. Stern continually intercepted attempts by both Daniel and Virgie to communicate with Anna.

Another convenient omission is the fact that it was Virgie Arthur, NOT Howard K Stern, who was successful in getting Anna Nicole to the Betty Ford Center before the "estrangement'.

If Mr. Stern has a problem with the media coverage, maybe it's because he brought in on himself? Maybe it's because he's thrown in so many obstacles regarding paternity? Will Mr. Stern give back to Mr. Birkhead seven months of precious moments with Dannielynn that Larry was deprived of? The first seven months of his first child's life! As Larry himself said in Judge Seidlin's courtroom, these are things you can never get back. Will Mr. Stern reimburse all the legal fees incurred by Mr. Birkhead and Ms. Arthur because of all the appeals and delays BY Mr.Stern?

Mr. Stern is upset with the media, yet he had no problem using the media for his advantage and probable financial gain. Did he not get paid by ET for "exclusives" of the TWO funeral "shows"? The "commitment ceremony" (before Daniel was even buried)? The VERY staged interview, embellished by Mr. Stern's tearless sobs on the private jet provided by ET right after Anna Nicole died?

Then when it's reported that the drugs that Anna died of were in FACT not prescribed to Anna, but to Howard K Stern (a felony as per the label on the Rx bottles), Mr. Stern is angry? When it's reported that Anna had a fever of 105 and instead of getting her proper medical care, she was put in an ICE BATH, he's outraged at how the MEDIA are making it look??? When Anna NIcole is dying (or maybe already dead), he's out buying a boat? And HE'S angry???

Something is very wrong with all that and the misplaced outrage. This is NOT about Howard K Stern, regardless of threats from his legal team. This is about 2 seemingly healthy members of one family dead within 5 months of each other, both from (illegal) drugs, both with Mr. Stern there, but conveniently not there. This is about an innocent baby who was fed drugs in UTERO as Mr. Stern, not only did nothing to stop, but actually exploited by videotaping "footage that could be worth a lot of money".

As an objective observer, AND as a mother and grandmother, *I* am outraged! Outraged that the media try to deflect and distract from the FACTS and the TRUTH because Mr. Stern is angry and his legal team have sent out a warning, aka threat. Is this not America? Do we not have the right to form an opinion based on observation? Do we not have the right to express that opinion? Does a hot shot bully of a lawyer and a shoeless, maybe soon to be homeless Mr. Stern get to dictate what will and will not be reported on public air waves? Do they think the public is that stupid to not see through this attempt to manipulate public opinion by threatening the media?

More importantly, do the media outlets feel intimidated or obliged to comply by "throwing out dirt" and slinging mud at Mrs. Arthur? She has not had an easy time of it, to put it mildly, and does NOT deserve it. IMO, if anyone has grounds for a defamation/slander/libel law suit, it's Virgie Arthur. (No, I'm not an attorney, just an observer, a mother, a grandmother.)

I pay too much for cable TV to have my intelligence insulted and my blood pressure raised.

1155. Anna might have been a big girl as you put it and did drugs before HKS was on the scene! BUT, HKS had drugs prescribed in his name that he admitted in court that he gave to her ! That is a felony ! It was also stated that they had to hide the drugs from her and he and Dr Death both gave them to her and monitered them and so forth.....she dies from a drug overdose and no one bears responsibility??? Give me a break ! Not to mention her son 5 months earlier ! WHY??? Is HKS holding up the in quest????
