Gina Glocksen Fans Are Pissed at "Idol"

17. I never thought of her as a great singer. But when she wore that rockish outfit , punky hair cut and colors, and a tongue piercing to sing on Tony Bennet night she looked out of place. She sang the standard ballad Smile by Charlie Chaplain sang that night, and whenever she opened her mouth while singing it on the close ups you saw her tongue piercing sticking out and her white coated tongue, which just really grossed me out.

BTW Some young folks think that there shouldn't have been a Tony Bennet theme night, but any talented singer young or old with great singing chops should be able to hit it out of the park. Kelly Clarkson belted out her best stuff on Big Band night and could do a Rod Stewert Am. Songbook album and sell tons of records. Tony Bennet, like it or not, has been around a long time and his voice is still amazing in his 80's. The kids should listen to the valuable tips about singing he gave them as Bennet is legendary, J. LO. will inevitably be forgotten decades from now.

As for Gina, I think she turned a lot of people off when she didn't go the extra mile and dress herself to fit the genre of the night. It appeared like she really didn't want to win it as badly as the other singers did. Like it or not, your appearance is the first impression the audience gets of you as an entertainer. If you don't look the part, you won't get the part. JMO.

20. I loved Gina but America got it wrong or maybe AI is going backwards and voting the best of the best off. Idol sucks this year, sorry. I got my idol forever and that is none other than CLAY AIKEN.

21. Gina is only slightly talented and had very little chance of winning. It made no difference when she got voted off as she would have been voted off anyway.

22. Gina - what a beautiful voice you have and lots of us will miss you so much! This is Vocal Coach - Melissa Black here in Arizona - i was Jordin's Voice Teacher a few years back. Your beautiful voice and great personality will take you far - the whole time i watched you and listened to you - i kept thinking how you should have been on ROCKSTAR SUPERNOVA! I wish all of the contestants good luck during and after the competition - again like i have said before - there are no losers - even the ones sent home will still get to tour and make money at what they love to do. 23. Nobody voted Gina off. She didn't have enough fans voting to keep her on. It's as simple as that. I don't vote, but if I did, it would be for Sanjaya. Without him, this season would be boring beyond belief. Everyone keeps saying it's a singing competition. It's a reality show disguised as a singing competition.

25. OMG Sanjaya SUCKS! He is terrible Gina rocks...so there people. I do kinda think she could have removed the tongue piercing, but SANJAYA IS AN IDIOT! 26. Gina was a better singer than Sanjaya, he needs to go before anyone else. HE IS THE WORST!!
The show is a joke this year and it is too bad that it has ended up this way, you are letting Howard SCUM Stern win......That is sad........ ABC needs to do something next year so this does not happen again....

28. Okay, could you have found a worse picture of Gina to post? Yes, Idol is even suckier now that Gina is gone. She was the only fun part of the show this season. The show is a joke this season because good singers are being sacrificed so that a young boy can be used as a puppet by some people with a very sick sense of humor. Such a shame. Gina, rock on girl! I'll be watching for your first album.

I just don't get it......GINA should still be there, STEPHANIE should still be there, SABRINA should still be there, PHIL and CHRIS definitely need to stay....they were/are way better than that little twirp with the weird hair do's.......I can't remember his name....something like "Sameasmysista" (kinda reminds me of the whole Michael/Janet thing years ago---is Michael really Janet?) No matter who wins now, any one of the final 12-16 could have a true career ahead of them (which is great for all, well, most of them). Good luck to all of you who are left, and get rid of Sameasmysista!!!!!!!!! And for God's sakes.....could former Idol contestants and family members QUIT TAKING OFF THEIR CLOTHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Wake up America......
