33. LOL @ you morons bashing Gina for her tongue ring. As if that had ANYTHING to do with her vocal abilities. It just amuses me that some in America still don't realize we're the home of the FREE and we can have piercings if we so choose to. God forbid you all come out of your bubble from the 1950s and let people be themselves.

Gina isn't going to disappear and never return, she'll be back. If Chris Sligh can get 5 record deal offers, there's no doubt in my mind Gina will get one!

34. Gina Really sucked, she was never good, a terrible singer and an even worse performer, people just liked her because of her look and personality type. She even did that Evanessence song bad. What made her worse, and what made me not like her was her Cockyness, she was so Arrogant and I hated it. It was obvious that LAkisha and Melinda had the better voices, yet she would say that she sang better all the time. I wanted her out since the top 24.

35. Gina and I went to the same high school. She has a great voice. Everyone thought she was the best singer at our school in talent shows and plays and stuff. She def. has personality. Sure, Lakisha and Melinda have better voices, but they are really boring....no personality, just typical girls who sang in church that have great voices. Gina, we miss you!

36. Gina was awesome and made the show interesting along with Melinda and Jordan. Gina wasnt THE best but she was 100X better than most people on the show this year. She had presence, a unique style, and a good voice. She def has the "It" factor and thats what you need in this industry to make it. Give her time and she will blow us all away with a killer album.

As for Sanjaya...he has the ability to entertain but when it comes to a competition as big as this, what really counts is the voice and personality. He only has half. Im not sayin he is a bad singer..he just doesnt have it. I can see him doing well on a cruise or hotel but lets face it he will never be as famous (or at least successful) as most of the Idol alumni. He was booed at a baseball game when put on the giant screen for goodness sake..him winning will definately hurt Idol. If the producers want to save idol they need to make a new rule..one where the judges can nominate the bottom 3 and then the public votes between those 3. Its a fair and safe way to end up with talent in the end. Simon is always on point and i almost always agree with him. He is just a bit more harsh than I would be.

People following Howard Stern and all those trying to sabotage Idol please stop. What has Idol done to you guys other than add great new talent to the industry. Put all your energy into thinking up a show that will top idol (a chalenge but not imposible). at least then you will be productive.

37. Gina's a good singer but there are others that are better. It's inevitable that everyone that has a favorite that is still on the show is going to be angry when their favorite is kicked off. My favorite is Blake. He is talented, has a certain spark that the others do not have. As far as Sanjaya, keep in mind that he is young and there are probably more then 20 to 30 million hispanics in America with probably 3 to 6 kids a piece that are fans of his and they are the ones doing all of the voting. I don't think that there are that many people that care enough to to sabotage the vote.

38. #35 I totally agree with the whole judges nomination thing but as for the sabotage i think yea there probably are people out there but i doubt that its enough for Sanjaya to get voted through every time. He should have been off the show a while ago and this will hurt the show but i guess America is deaf. as for hispanics voting Sanjaya please get your facts straight. Sanjaya is indian and the girl who cried for him on the show was white. Hispanics are not dumb and would not vote for bad talent. The industry of Hispanic singers is also a huge one and there is great talent out there. If you want to blame an ethnicity which i know is not the reason for Sanjaya stil being there blame the millions of indians out there with 15 people per household. if not then please get your facts straight.

she has a great voice and she is very unique... everyone is saying mean things about her when she is great! stop saying mean thing about Gina...

SANJAYA DOES HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS... he is only staying on because of the website... www.votefortheworst.com i hate him!!!! he is the reason that gina got voted off. he does not even get into the bottom 3....

41. Gina was the only reason i watched idol and that was the night I voted for her 6 times sooo i havent been that interested in it since Gina left and Phil is my last hope and since Gina didn't phil has to, and also because Gina and Phil were best buds on the show.

43. Gina was amazing. She was such a perfect idol contestant. She had looks, and the great singing ability, along with her edgy style. The tongue-ring had nothing to do with her singing. She sang perfectly with it in. She did not deserve to be kicked off. Her song choices were good, and her singing was always fantastic. I'm certainly not ashamed to say I voted for her every night. I just wish that more of "G-Force" hadn't felt so secure with her, as we all did, and voted anyways.

It was a shock she was kicked off to all of us.
