97. LOVE Imus and his wife. No one pays much attention to all the good they do. His show is a comedy! I watch him every morning when I'm getting ready for work and he starts my day with lots of humor and laughs. More than Sharpton does with his whining self. There surely is a double standard in this country. Maybe we could give Sharpton a ticket home so he can live happy! There wouldn't be the opportunity to cry about how awful we all are from there tho.
Imus will continue to go forward in his life on a positive note, regardless of this experience.

99. When an individual is compensated for their time and talent, that individual is an employee. An employees time and opinions are in the ownership of the employer. An employer has the right to expect that the employee will honor the values and traditions of the employer. If the employee does not conform with the expectations of the employer, the employer has the right to remove the employee from their employ. There is nothing new about this concept. Why does the concept need to be overruled in this particular incident, I ask?

Media companies have the obligation to both their sponsors and their viewers to not host or promote that which is offensive to certain sectors of the population based on ethnicity, color, creed, national origin, economic status, sexual preference, handicap status, marital status, gender, etc. Media companies, believe it or not, are in business to make money. When you have sponsors such as Staples and Head On asking removing their sponsorship based on offensive comments, the company loses money. Why, then, should the company continue to compensate the offender out of its diminished resources? Would that be a sound business decision to do so? It makes no sense whatsoever to continue to compensate an employee who is causing reductions in incoming revenue.


So you think thirty years tenure affords this crass individual to continue to insult ethnic groups? This individual supposedly jokingly accused these intelligent, ambitious, future leaders of America of being prostitutes. He also made fun of the texture of their hair. How about your daughters, what if he insulted them with accusations of being sexually promiscuous and poked fun at their hair texture? Would it continue to raise your dander that MSNBC has washed their hands of him?

Congratulations, MSNBC, on having the integrity, honor, values and bravado to do the right thing!! I applaud you!!

This is the bull$hit news that the media is feeding us. What about the e-mails that have been deleted pertaining to the attorney firings. What about the 10 troops that were killed over the weekend? What about the 5 British troops that were killed? What about the extended duties of our troops? Which is nothing more than a backdoor draft. What about Bush acting like a spoiled little prick and threaten to veto the bill to give our troops the necessities that they need to continue fighting in this Iraqi civil war?

102. It was really sickening to see IMUS on air the other day looking for his buddy Harold Ford, Jr. who he pushed all the time on air for Senator from Tennessee. Imus was asking Bernie to check the police scanners to see if maybe he was in a wreck and that was why he had not heard from Mr. Ford. Imus asked Mr. Barnacle when he called in if he had heard from Harold Ford, jr. Imus said where are you Harold Baby? No Harold Ford. He asked had Harold called in and bernie said no nothing from him. I guess Mr. Imus you really find out who your friends are when your butt is in a pinch. There is justice in this world. I have yet to hear Mr. Ford come out and stick up with Mr. Imus. So, I take it Mr. Ford who is Af/Am is not too pleased either.
