Custody NOT Decided Today!

... And the saga continues.

In a brief statement to the press, Howard K. Stern revealed that court has adjourned for the day, without a decision as to the custody of Dannielynn.

Stern didn't clearly identify who threw the wrench into today's hearing, but insisted it wasn't him, saying, "If it were up to me, the formal order in terms of giving Larry full custody would have occured today."

However, Stern did mention that the transition of parenthood has already begun with Larry Birkhead, and says Dannielynn's biological dad has even taken on diaper duty. Stern added, "He's doing a great job."

Birkhead made a quick exit from the courthouse, telling reporters that he couldn't comment about what went on inside.

All three parties will be back in court one week from today.

47. The wheels of hate are turning away from Howard and into Vergie's favor. This is absurd! Why is she doing this? She rode with the Splash people to view her daughter's body and now this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelieveable. The more she fights Larry the more chaos! I say get Larry's parents in there and say they want custody aswell.....wouldn't be anymore strange.

Well, i think we can all read into this as to what happened - Virgie and her attorneys are in this whole thing for the money - it's obvious that when you're a grandmother you don't profit from your grandchild - grandparents are part of the family - they visit, send cards, etc. But in this case, if Virgie isn't appointed as a "guardian" or in a "dual custodial" role, she can't get PAID - what a sad, sad situation. Just wait til Dannielynn gets old enough to read all about how her grandmother held up custody for her bio dad, that, and how she held up the funeral for Anna. The child will hate her just like Anna did.

49. This is horrible. Virgie Arthur has changed her story so many times. The Bahamian court needs to take into account the laws in the USA since NOBODY is a Bahamian citizen in this matter! She can smile all she wants...all I see is blackness in her heart and green in her eyes...

She wants, and has always wanted, her fingers in the pot of gold!!!
Oh I am so upset!!!! She makes me sick!!! Compare her to HKS I have to say I'll take HKS anyday!!!!!
But regardless of what the Bahamas says, once they hit the states it will be a whole different story!!!!
The Bahama Govt is only good in the Bahamas and when Larry gets to the "Good Ole US of A it will be our govt.!!!!

This has absolutely nothing to do with HKS and everything to do with Virgie's interferance.

I apologize for my foul language earlier, but I really am angry now.

The baby deserves to be with Larry and now, thanks to her greediness, he's been denied again.

I was giving her the benefit of the doubt, but now that she's shown her true colors, I hate her.

I hope she NEVER gets her hands on that baby. NEVER!

I think everyone just needs to back of Howard... no one knows ANYTHING about that man to sit here and say he's this and that... leave the man alone, he's got more crap going on in his life than anyone here will ever have to deal with in their entire life.. and some of it, yes, he may bring on himself, but he's lost someone he was close to and now he's losing a baby that him and Anna would have raised... right or wrong guys, he makes mistakes like everyone else does, and now he's trying to fix what he can and make sure that Larry gets the baby... just stop bein so mean.. he's a person just like all of us and i think he's getting way more crap than he deserves... have a heart, his life is on display for everyone to see... how would you people like to have your life splashed on every website, news station or magazine cover for the whole world to see all of your mistakes?

You are mean and evil spirited..............he has done NOTHING to you, just leave him alone. ..................he is doing the right thing by his daughter....................the daughter he has taken care of for 7 months, biological or not. He loves her, that is apparent.

59. 45. 24 Moonwind: Because HKS is still the legal guardian of the baby...is that so difficult to understand? Until guardianship is declared (different than declaring who the biological parent is) she will remain with Howard who is taking good care of her and allowing Larry 100% access to her. Why do you have a problem with understanding that?

I have no trouble understanding that all of this is Howard's fault. I have no trouble understanding that he kept a rightful parent away from his child. I have no trouble understanding that each party has their own lawyers. I DO have trouble understanding where Howie gets off making statements to the press for all parties. Do you have any trouble understanding that?

60. Thank you REZIN!! Nobody personally know HKS or Larry Birkhead, SO before you make judgements about either one you should remember that HKS is all this little girl knows, everyone else in her life has died! So I do hope Larry lets Howard remain apart of this little girls life, or who knows what Howard will do to himself and I think there has been enough Tragedy for one family....dont you??????
