Louis Gossett Jr. -- Deadbeat Lakers Fan?

Louis Gossett Jr.Actor Louis Gossett, Jr. is being slammed for allegedly not paying for a pair of $37,000 Lakers tickets, and now the brass behind the basketball team is crying foul.

In a lawsuit filed recently in Los Angeles Superior Court, the former "Iron Eagle" is accused of signing a 2003 contract for a pair of exclusive Premier Seats at Staples Center -- home to the Los Angeles Lakers, Clippers and the NHL's L.A. Kings -- but never forking over the dough. The tickets, located close to the floor, are good for nearly any sporting event at the arena -- for two years!

Now, L.A. Arena Funding, the company that handles ticket sales for Staples Center events, is asking for $38,850 in damages. To put things in perspective -- that's less than 1% of what Kobe Bryant made this year (endorsements not included).

Reps for Gossett had no comment.

Just so everyone knows TMZ are pulling down ppls negative blogs about paris Hilton, now I don’t know WTF is going on here weather Hilton has them by the legal balls or they are just pathetic parasite huggers, anyway they have pulled off several of my comments and I’m getting pretty pissed off about it. I noticed that they aren’t doing this for Britney or Lindsay (surprise surprise!) and I call for everyone to post their most horrible hate blogs about parasite that they can muster, TMZ are protecting this worthless bitch and I for one am sick of it. 17. It doesn't matter what race you are or if you are a celebrity...if you owe something...pay up sucker! I do agree that the sense of entitlement by celebs has gotten rediculous.

18. I do not understand why in the year of 2007, people are so racist.
This is a simple post about one person being sued by another. Why does
racism enter into the conversation?
The staff at TMZ should not allow this type of racism on their site.
This site should prevent this type of hatred. Please discuss the subject matter.

20. Why don't you all get the facts before you puke out your words. Lets just see if he really is guilty. I know he still goes to the games and has season tickets so if this story is true why did they let him get tickets again. Kick butt Lou and get a public apology.
