Paula -- No Sympathy for Sanjaya

Now that he's been booted from "American ldol," Paula Abdul couldn't care less about Sanjaya Malakar.

TMZ caught the loopy "Idol" judge outside Mr. Chow last night, where she went to chow down after the results show, in which the Sanjaya the Ponyhawked Wonder got the ax. When asked her feelings on his exile, Abdul wasn't exactly sympathetic, brushing off the question with a "Oh he'll be fine," and proceeded to sign photos for waiting autograph hounds.

With Sanjaya's media attention and lightweight vocals gone, Paula added, "The competition's gonna start getting heavy."

46. I am a huge fan of american idol from its start I stoped watching so much after Kelly clarkston and justin left cause was getting bored when Sanjaya came I started watching again he brought life to the show made it popular again people who thinks Sanjaya doesnot have talent does not know what talent is. Hes great to look at he is a different person every week and the camera loves him sitting at home watching him made me feel like he was looking right at me in my eyes singing to me. I feel like the people who dont like him is prejudice and jealious, Why do news persons entertainment persons and radio openly say bad things about a young person who is only trying to follow there dreams. All of you need to tell him your sorry and thank him for your jobs. I wish him well in his future. He really gave people somthing to talk about all this bad press about him is unfair, He was the most talented person on tv for some time he reminded me of the old hollywood movies stars like fred astair. watching to see what Sanjaya the tiger woods of talent will do next. yours, truily Vicki Lynn

47. Who cares about the grammar? I don't. Paula is what Paula is and always will be. As for Sanjaya--its about time the sheboy got voted off. Now the competition can be fair.

48. I think I only disliked Sanji because he is not as good a singer as the rest, and when someone better was sent home it made me angry.
Now that he is gone, however, I can admit that he is kinda cute and always entertaining. I think he is very strong (or on that river in Egypt) to take all the criticism with such a good spirit.

49. UM..........WOW. I CANT BELIEVE THAT ALL YOU PEOPLE ARE GOING ON AND ON AND ON ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT "I COULD CARE LESS" IS CORRECT GRAMMAR WHEN IF YOU ACTUALLY GO BACK AND READ THE DAMN ARTICAL, THE LINE IS:
Now that he's been booted from "American ldol," Paula Abdul couldn't care less about Sanjaya Malakar.
COULDN'T.................NOT COULD. SO ALL THE ARGUING WAS FOR NOTHING.
WHAT AN IDIOT THAT PERSON IS FOR EVEN STARTING THIS. AND I CANT BELIEVE ALL THE REST OF YOU IDIOTS KEPT ARGUING, NEVER BOTHERING TO READ IT FOR YOURSELVES AND POINT OUT THAT THE JOURNALIST NEVER WROTE "COULD CARE LESS" TO BEGIN WITH. DAMN I WISH I HAD SEEN THIS 40 COMMENTS AGO SO I COULD HAVE POINTED THIS OUT TO THE ORIGINAL IDIOT!!!!!

50. "3) No matter how sincere he tries to be, Ryan Seacrest is becoming more annoying that a poorly inserted tampon."

Wendy, you are my new hero! I could not have described RS better myself! :)

51. When Sanjaya first auditioned, he had a decent voice, he sounded relatively nice actually. But in comparison to the rest of the singers in the competition now, he was no where near as strong as them.Thats why he went home.

As far as the comment about the fact that Jordan Sparks is 17 and that could be a weakness, age really has nothing to do with it. Jordin has a beautiful voice, heck she sings better than half of the people in the competition that are older than her. If you can sing, you can sing. Shes also beautiful and I think that regardless of whether or not she wins, we will see plenty of her in the future & I look forward to it.

& Let go of the stupid grammar debate. Its kind of pathetic actually, not to mention very elementary. Thanks. :)

53. I am bored with this years AI. Sanjaya well over stayed his welcome. I know it was all for ratings. Most ppl watched just to see when he was going to get kicked off. I watched in horror when some of the good ones got kicked off to make way for Sanjaya. The bitter spats going on between the judges is not becoming. If Ryan is gay, do we really care?

54. I could not possibly care any less than I do about Paula Abdul.
Ryan Seacrest is beyond irritating. He believes his own hype.
This year's idol is boring and only Sanjaya kept it entertaining. Thankfully, I can now stop watching this trainwreck of a show.

55. What the hell is this? An entertainment gossip blog, or a grammar debate? WHO CARES??

56. Did not know ppl were haters because they have an opinion. And what does being a Christian or not have to do with any feed back to TMZ. Thought all of this was for entertainment purposes for the most part. We like what we like and comment on what we do. Does not make us good or evil. Makes us stupid sometimes for giving this site the light of day. I call it boredom. We must all get a life.

57. #13 you might be correct but it's called an "idiomatic expression".

As for Sanjaya, I didn't care for his singing style but I did like that he always made the show interesting.

58. Who cares about the way the writer wrote it. I understood what they meant. Use a little common sense. I'm just glad that Sanjaya is gone. He should have been gone a long time ago. It's a singing contest not a pretty boy contest.

59. Sanjaya is a young man--I think the comments have been brutal and uncalled for. He had courage, charisma and made the show better for being there. His school plays are adorable and should not be used to ridicule him. I for one will miss him--he was an interesting, fun and fresh entertainer. HE WILL HAVE THE LAST LAUGH :)

60. dear NO. 5, "could care less" is common slang, look it up.

dear tmz writer, sanjaya was the only entertaining person on idol. there is no talent that is a superstar. i mean, is there a clay aiken or justin guarini, who made people watch.
the hollywood 24 were average. '

dear simon, stop complaining about sanjaya, you (3 judges) put him through to hollytwood (and his sister).
