All Sanjaya is, according to anyone who knows him, is a very loving, confident young man who is milking his 15 minutes for whatever he can.

64. I think it's best for the kid that he got kicked off, he was made a laughing stock, atleast now he can fade into the background. I don't watch AI, but I do follow the news, and I do listen to Howard Stern on occassion. Vote for the worst was an awful idea, this boy seems very sweet, and because of all this he was given false hope, and made to feel he was something that he wasn't. From my understanding, although his voice was pleasant, he was certainly not worthy of a record deal. Maybe all these people who are so upset that he's gone now will buy his records, if he ever makes any. As far as a conspiracy to kick him off the show, American Idol has to do what it has to do to keep the show true to it's original idea, so if there were a conspiracy, it was justly so.

65. You Sanjaya fans will see "if" and when he makes a CD that it will NOT sale...oh maybe 1000 copies of you die hard fans that called in 700+ times a piece. But that is it...he sucks!!!! 66. people are so sallow, yes sanjaya is a good looking kid, and after a while he even knew that is what was keeping him there, his looks. the boy didn't have no moves, no groove,
no soul, he was just there and getting by on the cute kid votes. even diana ross tried to tell him to put a little something into , "do you pat you feet or something?". AJ was robbed, Stephanie was robbed, because of this sanjaya game. it will come down to jordin, kiki, and melissa, because if you people know anything about music, they got it. it's obvious the singing is there, but you have that extra to go along with. it's about feelings, about being able to understand everyword they sing, putting your heart and soul into it. and this is not a beauty contest, its a singing contest. so kiki is on the heavy side, bet you can't sing like her
lol lol lol jordin is pretty and young, that might work for her, but melissa got it going on with the whole singing thing, the whole thing. stop being sallow america, and vote for the best voice and package, not the best looks. you see that girl that thought showing her body off is gone, gone, gone. thank God. get real america. sanjaya got his 15 minutes, and will get more before it is all over with for him. and please start giving Fantasia her props.

Seems that so many here are judge, jury and executioner minded, for God's sake give the kid a break.It takes tremendous courage every week to get up on that stage and sing his heart out.Most of us could never do that at 17 or any age for all that matters.Sanjaya did make the show more fun and interesting with his talent.He has charisma and a rather elegantly smooth voice that was quite beautiful,but just seemed to be lacking in pitch.He will go far in the entertainment business once he gets some power behind that voice.The harsh criticism at times on AI and this board are completely unreasonable.My hats off to you Sanjaya, you gave it a good shot.We love you nomatter what the so called critics say.Simon should try applying construcive and supportive criticism rather than his in the face mean blows to the heart.Show the love people. Give me a break! Gina wasn't in the bottom three either from week to week and she left!!!! Get real. His remaining in the competition as long as he did cheated good contestants (like Gina) out of the chance to win this year. And this was Gina's third go-around!!!!

As usual, "Sanjayafans" have to believe that there was a conspiracy in order to believe that he was actually voted off. People grew tired of his inability to perform. It's as simple as that.

75. Howard Stern only has about 2 milion listeners. Sirius has about 6 million subscribers
and more than half do not listen to Stern, a study showed. With over 30 million calls placed to vote, I don't think his listeners made a difference. And thats if every listener called in. You got to figure maybe half called to show. I watch the show and never called in once.
