But Anna is not alive and it is not necessary for Dannielynn to be exposed to anything that Virgie would or could expose her to. She has the chance to have a normal life with a normal loving father and it would be a disaster for her to be legally bound to Virgie in any way. Let Virgie visit her if she wants to be a grandmother, but that is all.

Of course you are right that there is nothing incestuous at all about it and those things happen in the best of families.

However, I confess that I bought Donna Hogan's book, TRAINWRECK, because I felt sorry for her when she was beaten up on Dr. Phil's show.

Like Donna or not, the book is MOSTLY about Donna and she describes her family as practically a culture of immorality and incest. it is actually hard to follow because there is so much! In that regard, Virgie is a victim of the culture.

That said, Donna really has good insight into the family members. She seems to have common sense and she isn't stupid. I think it would have been extremely difficult to make these details up.

#46 This just reinforces my opinion that Virgie Arthur should never be allowed near Dannielynn. If every husband was either abusive or a child predator, then my God what would happen if Dannielynn were ever allowed to visit. Who knows how long the present husband will last. There may be another five in the future. No way I'd ever let that baby near her.

Even tho this a sick story. It is even sicker when people want to know all the inside information. Who cares if they lived together when they were young or when they were teenagers or even in the same house. Some peoples minds are getting carried away with this story in some unhealthy way I might add. TMZ lets hear about when Dannielyn and Larry are going to go home without strings from HK$ or Virgie.

All the people involved in Dannielynn's life have servere problems. In my opinion
this child needs to be adopted by a good family and never know these people.

I believe that Arthur’s attempts to wrestle control from Birkhead, and those whom Anna trusted to oversee her affairs, show that Arthur has not recovered from her past, but is still actively perpetuating the cycle of abuse that has dominated her family for at least several decades.

Thank you trish for the articulate synopsis of VA's history. As a woman who was molested as a child and in my early career years, was an advocate for children of sexual abuse, I have to say Arthur's story makes me physically sick to my stomach.

Presently, I am a counselor who specializes in women's issues, and as such, have seen and heard everything. Arthur's story is so twisted and incestuous that it should have it's own classification in the mental disorder book.

I now understand Anna Nicole Smith. I never followed her train wreck of a life, and didn't have any interest in paying attention until the last six months of her life. What a tragedy.

It is no wonder that she vehemently declared that her mother would "never touch" her child and I hope Birkhead and Stern unite to see that she never does.

Virgie Arthur is sick and twisted and is after this child for two reasons: money and "gotcha" to her daughter Vicki Lynn.

This stuff happens in the South :(

If you do the math, the hussy was pregnant at age 13. Don't try to tell me it wasn't consensual -- who names their baby after their rapist??

That is legal rape--regardless of how consensual it was. It matters how old the stepbrother was. Why do you care?

Just think of it--next time you cast your eyes upon Virgie (she's had a complete makeover--new hairdo, new conservative clothes, etc) you will think of the stepbrother--two teens. If that is what really took place and when.
