Birkhead: I'm Calling My Travel Agent!

Click to return to TMZ.comLarry Birkhead just emerged from a custody hearing in the Bahamas with a big smile on his face and said, "I gotta call my travel agent," suggesting that he was getting very close to taking daughter Dannielynn home.

Minutes later, Howard K. Stern emerged from the courtroom and slammed Virgie Arthur for holding up the custody process, saying that she "proved herself to be what Anna Nicole always told me."

The three parties were in the same room this morning -- perhaps for the very last time -- to determine custody. Virgie Arthur is seeking guaranteed visitation of Dannielynn and wants to be her guardian in the event of Larry's death. While he didn't go into specifics, Birkhead was visibly pleased with what transpired in the courtroom, but left some room open, saying he didn't know whether he'd need "one seat or two."

Virgie slipped away without a word.

91. The custody is not over everyone, if it was there would be no gag order still in effect. Larry would have went into details and Howard would have too if it was over.

Virgie probably feels she has to ask for guaranteed visitation with DL because she knows that once Larry and Howard (and the rest of DL's extended family) see her for the rotten scum she truly is, they're not gonna want Dannielynn any where near her. If she has it in writing, they have to let her see the baby. I certainly wouldn't allow her to be the guardian of that beatiful baby girl, should Larry die first. Larry's no dummy...he's not gonna let that happen. I'd give her to Howard before I'd give her to that witch!

95. I THINK VERGIE HAD TO DO SOMETHING TO ENSURE THAT HKS COULD NO LONGER
BE A GUARDIAN FOR DNS.
SO IF HE RUNS ANYWHERE, THE LAW IN THE BAHAMAS WILL ENSURE THAT THE
BABY WILL NOT GO BACK TO HKS, NOR WILL HE BE ABLE TO CONTROL HER
ASSETS, IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO LARRY.

Told ya! Here's what my Bahama lawyer guy wrote weeks ago:

"Therefore, ignore the legal pundits who suggest that the judge will balance chauvinistic and parochial (i.e., cultural) prejudices that invariably favor granting guardianship to a grandmother instead of the biological father. Because that’s utter rubbish. More to the point, however, there is no evidence to suggest that Birkhead would be an unfit parent; whereas, there is relevant evidence, including Anna Nicole’s own damning (even if drug-induced) words and the documented troubles of her other children, to suggest that Mrs Arthur would not be a very fit parent at all.

So, simmer down folks. Legal cases in The Bahamas proceed with proper judicial speed, not according to the whimsical dictates of American TV producers. But as I said sometime ago, this should all be over by the end of April…."

105. Alright now! Quit defending that woman! If she was any grandmother at all, she would have accepted whatever arrangements Larry was willing to give her! Why does she find it necessary to have control over the estate if something were to happen to Larry? She doesn't need to have any custody over DannieLynn in order to do a wrongful death suit. She is her mother , and that gives her all the rights in the word to do a wrongful death suit! She is all about money money money and CONTROL CONTROL CONTROL!
