61. Alec is jealous of Kim because she has won the Academy Award and he has never even been nominated. Wish these ignorant actors would use their money and get educated. Did Alec or Rosie O'Donnel graduate from High School? Probably not , since they act like morons most of the time. I admire Brooks Shields and Jody Foster for going to college - even at the peak of their popularity. People who don't know what they are talking about should keep their big, fat mouths closed!!!!!

62. I think Alec needs to get some parenting advice from Bruce Willis.
If you don't want to call Dr. Phil then call Bruce Willis. He ,Demi and Ashton are perfect examples of great parenting. DOING WHATS BEST FOR THE CHILD.

63. #50 C.....Please refer to my post #58..where I inform #42 CMS as to my identity!! That poster also thought I must be related to Mr. Baldwin! They also thought I must be a divorced father scorned! You people really need to get out more...it seems you haven't a clue as to the workings of nasty divorce...child custody situations....not to mention the viciousness that ensues...affecting the children and their attitudes and actions in that regard. Maybe take some time off from these boards...and read up on the subject...I've already done my homework ....it's your turn....and a necessity before you judge not only what I say...but conclude that no one other than a relative would show some defense for one of the parties involved.

64. NBC is just as bad - they deleted all posts related to Baldwin (both negative and in support). I am absolutely boycotting Baldwin, as well as NBC.

65. He has a reputation for being hotheaded & he has to take responsibility for his own actions & words. I think they should have settled their problems yrs. ago but how can we blame Kim entirely when we don't know exactly what is going on. Alex has a rotten reputation & I certainly wouldn't believe anything that comes from his mouth.

68. I don't think it was right for Kim Basinger to release the voicemail to the public. It was yet another way of embarrassing her daughters father. I'm not saying he is right in what he said, but we should have never heard it.
Is it just a coincidence that this is the first time we have seen Kim and Ireland out and about...lots of coverage on this one!

69. Well, I do sympathize with Alec. I know he has been pushed to the edge all these years. We have all lost our temper at one time or another, and I'm sure he regrets the things he said. Whomever released this tape wanted to further embarrass him, and that is wrong. I feel bad for their daughter. Both parents need to seek help before it's too late. What a screwed up mess this is.

70. Well I think this got way...out of hand.. Who's bussiness is it how he or anyone else talks to his daughter? That's HIS daughter!!! Like no one has ever gotten loud with there kids.. I think the mother is at fault for releasing the tape. Does she hate him this much? The kid is probably a spoiled lil' rich brat anyways!!!! I don't think Alec did anything wrong..

71. I would think Kim would've done whatever she could to keep the voicemail from coming out to the public because it will put so much negative focus on her young daughter. Kim even got bodyguards now as a result! If she didn't think Alec were fit to see their daughter - only the courts need hear the voicemail - not the public. By leaking the voicemail it shows she cares more about getting back at her ex then her daughter's well being. Maybe she's jealous he has a thriving career still and she's got nothing despite the fact she won an oscar a while back so she wants to ruin his public image.

As I've stated over and over - Alec just needs to go to counselling to get things under control. It's nothing so bad that can't be fixed.

72. I am a mother of two teens, and understand how these teens can drive you crazy. Alec is no different from most parents who have siad worst things to their teens. Let him be all you hypocrits. Kim is the one that I find to be a complete incomputent mother. By releasing that tape to the world what did she hope to achieve? and what has she achieve that is to the best interest of her daughter?. She should be ashamed of her self, assuming she has any decency in her. Clearly all she cares about is winning at any cost, including at the cost of her daughter. What more can one say of a mother such as Kim except that she is a twisted woman and mother. I wish Alec and his daughter the best of luck.

73. I'm amazed at the assumptions people make here!

None of you 'know' how much Alec 'really loves' his daughter. He might; or he may be a narccissist incapable of loving anyone but himself. His rages are very typical of narccissitc personality disorder. How many times do YOU cuss out the ones you love?

Also - it probably was NOT Kim who leaked the tapes, unless she had made copies of them. The court has them. And if she did, perhaps its a cry for help?? Alec has a history of violent behavior. All you can say against Kim is that she's a ditz.

NO ONE knows at this point whether Kim prevented Ireland from taking the calls from Alec - perhaps Alec isn't any nicer to Ireland when she does answer, and simply doesn't want to talk to him. Kim doesn't have to 'poison' Ireland's mind - I'll bet you the farm that Ireland knows from personal experience what to think of her dad.

And 11 is not 15 - it's 11. New math notwithstanding, she's an 11-year-old girl and it chills my soul to see people trashing this child in favor of her abusive father, whether you think she's pouting in her photos or not.

74. I guess social services would have taken my boys away from me years ago. What parent hasn't lost their temper with their kids at one time or another. Mine are grown men now. We were laughing about this the other day: "DON'T TALK BACK TO ME YOU LITTLE BRAT, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE." CLEAN YOUR ROOM, YOU'RE SUCH A SLOB, HOW DO YOU LIVE LIKE THAT?" The list goes on. Of course, it didn't happen on a daily basis, but suppose it was left on a voicemail and plastered all over every news media outlet? Wouldn't it be taken out of context? I'm am no big fan of Alec Baldwin (far from it) but I think this is just a bit much. The kid might be a spoiled brat or a pawn being used by his soon to be ex-wife.
