Kim Calls Alec "Unstable and Irrational"

Kim Basinger lashed out at Alec Baldwin yesterday, calling him "unstable and irrational" and unequivocally denying that she leaked Baldwin's vitriolic voicemail to daughter Ireland, first posted by TMZ.com.

In a statement released last night by her rep to OK! magazine, Basinger blamed the explosive custody battle between her and Baldwin on Alec's "ongoing aggressive behavior," and rejects any suggestion that it has anything to do with the "alleged alienation that Alec constantly refers to."

What's more, Basinger's rep insists that she "did not release the voicemail," but also says that the message "was not sealed under a court order." After hearing the tape, a judge temporarily barred Baldwin from having any contact with Ireland, and a full hearing on the matter is set for next week

Rosie Grabs Crotch, Tells Trump to "Eat Me"

Rosie O'Donnell unleashed her fury on one of her favorite targets -- Donald Trump -- at a lunch yesterday attended by her boss Barbara Walters ... and a gaggle of high school girls.

"The View's" resident flamethrower was the MC at the luncheon celebrating women in New York media, and took the opportunity to rail against the Donald again, says Page Six, at one point grabbing her crotch and shouting, "Eat me!" -- which made Babwa drop her head and cover her face on the dais.

One attendee called Ro's outburst "inappropriate," given that there were 17 teenage girls in the room, but her rep said, "She's a comedienne. She says things that are provocative."

Will Keith Richards Be Sniffing After Mom's Death?

Keith Richards' mom died on Saturday in the UK, and the question is – will he be snorting her too? The Rolling Stones guitar god spent most of the last week looking after his 91-year-old mum, who bought Keith his first guitar when he was 15 years old. Of course, as we all remember, Richards caused a worldwide sensation when he said that he'd mixed his father's ashes with cocaine and snorted them. He later retracted the comment, saying that his remark was "lost in the usual slanting."

Party Favors: Sheryl Crow and Laurie David: Global Cooling Behind the Scenes? ... Jonathan Rhys Meyers Enters Rehab ... Oprah Slammed for "Slanted" Hip-Hop Shows

Celeb ecowarriors Sheryl Crow and Laurie David may have presented a united front when they tag-teamed Karl Rove at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, but they're sniping at each other behind the scenes, reports Gatecrasher, with Laurie jealous of Crow's celebrity and Crow annoyed enough that she disinvited David from a visit to her ranch. ... Jonathan Rhys Meyers, star of Showtime's "The Tudors," has entered a rehab facility, according to People, for alcohol-related treatment. ... Jawn Murray of "The Tom Joyner Morning Show," in his BV Buzz column, slammed Oprah Winfrey's recent hip-hop-themed shows as "slanted as the regular news coverage on Fox News Channel," and compared blaming hip-hop for Don Imus' remarks to blaming Elton John and George Michael for Isaiah Washington's slurs.

31. 22. Rosie is laying the groundwork for a big public firing from Barbara Walters. She will then rant and rave for the next few months blaming the USA for hating lesbians and then come out with her own show in the fall. How predictable!

interesting thought--it would be ever so likely that she would make mileage of being fired or even for her contract not being renewed. her radical agenda is so warped! barbara walters has always appeared to be ladylike--it must be offensive and embarrassing to her.

but yes, i agree that rosie would use anything to promote the gay agenda!

and, her defending alec baldwin and admitting that she uses the 'f' word when angry with her children is appalling.

32. I don't believe she did that I can't imagine her being that stupid. I think the whole thing is made up.

33. #3, Frankie--you sound just like Alec. Run, ladies, run--another bully on board!!

34. A comedian still has to consider the age of her audience. And I beg to differ with Rosie's rep---Rosie isn't funny anymore. Nothing funny there. She uses a comedy platform to bully and spew hate.

35. #5 cynic--but it's ok for Alec to keep babbling to the press? If it were my child, I would be telling anyone who would listen.

36. Alec is a rageaholic and has always done this including bad mouthing his ex-wife in public saying she's crazy whenever she told anyone about his rages. Well, the proof is out there for all to see who was lying and who was telling the truth. No parent is perfect, we're not saying that, but his rages are over-the-top and totally unacceptable to his daughter for missing a phone call. Ask his daughter how he treats her and who she wants to live with. She's almost old enough to decide for herself at 12 years old and, if he is really a good father to her, she would want to see him and explain to the court that this was just a "one time occurence" (Ha) and that he doesn't ususally behave that way (Ha).

37. RE: Rosie's comments... I am not sure that she would do that... will wait for the final word.. BUT - why would she do that after seeing how well it worked out for Roseanne!?
As for the teenagers in the audience - does any parent really think that this is the most offensive thing your child will see this week?
They have said/heard thngs 3 X as bad as this at school - not that it makes it ok to say, but dont pretend to be angered unless you homeschool your childen and DO NOT have a television or computer in your home (in which case, you dont need to worry!)

38. Rosie needs to keep her big trap shut !!!!! When will Barbara wake up and get rid of her ????????? I have never liked Rosie and I have'nt watched the View since she has come on the show!!!!!!!!! EEEEEEEWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!
Rosie is just LOW CLASS TRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted at 10:11AM on Apr 24th 2007 by where is the justice

39. Rosie is such a self-centered PIG !!!!!!!!!

40. #43 - Barb ... It's true not sure why you seem to think Rosie is beneath doing something like that LOL Rosie was hosting the New York Women in Communication annual awards luncheon ... not only did she say nasty things about Donald Trump she was also insulting to Rupert Murdoch when she had to introduce him. Not sure why you are defending her actions ... even though you state you're not if you re-read your post you are defending her. Parents do have a right to be "offended" there is a time and place for everything and who would think they would have to listen to trash talk like that at this particular awards luncheon.

41. I'm sorry my post was directed to Barb #42 ... gotta love those typos :)

42. Kim's eyes are evil and the little girl looks just like her. Kim planned all this because she knew Baldwin one day would react badly. Kim is as trush as a bad witch put her own daughter in this position and release the message for the media. it was a total low low class. Anyway each day Kim become uglier and uglier and nothing she can do to get another man besides her.

Posted at 10:27AM on Apr 24th 2007 by its obvious that Kim set up this trap to infuriate Baldwin

43. GOOD FOR YOU KIM !!!

ANY GOOD PARENT would release a voicemail that is that CUTTING AND DEMEANING to an 11 year old girl.
Even if you did release it to TMZ...... GOOD FOR YOU. He needed to be exposed as the AWFUL FATHER IS TRULY IS.
I HOPE KIM GETS FULL CUSTODY AND ALEC GETS ANGER MANAGEMENT AND PSYCH. CLASSES.

Posted at 10:28AM on Apr 24th 2007 by KIM BASINGER IS THE BETTER PARENT... duh

44. CinkyK -- ya, I guess you are right with the appropiate time comment....
I have been a Rosie fan many years - I definitely dont like some of the things that she does/sais - but overall, I do enjoy her humor. This one is very hard to defend if true, as I think that she did a very very stupid thing - especially at a time when she has a lot of media attention.

Posted at 10:30AM on Apr 24th 2007 by Barb

45. I love the way Rosie hides behind her veil of "I'm a comedian, I say provocative things" all to mask the fact that's she's obnoxious, rude and WAY off center. She also fails to understand that just because you talk the loudest and longest that doesn't make you right. Keep those meds up Ro.
