33. i think this is bull. I am divorced and if they ever heard my ex talk to my 2 daughters on a voicemail he would go to jail. alexs daughter seams spoiled and manupulative . and in mt opion definally the x sent the tape so the whole world could hear alex to damage his image more, so she will have full custody. she looks like athe type. she probally has her brainwashed . grow up ur not getting any younger kim as i saw u on tv last.

34. Are you Kidding? That would be awesome! His dughter has probably never had a finger raised at her in her life and could be a litte brat. My parents wer hard on me and i think i'm a pretty damn good role model. Maybe it was about time she had a little discipline. Geezus America quit overreacting to everyone else's life and maybe focus on your own crazy problems. We all have them!

I learned long time ago from a very smart woman who once told me then a teenager when I was trying to prove my point and raised my voice-"you don't have to shout to be heard, you should learn how to say things quietly and firmly and still be heard by everyone". And every time since then when I am tempted to raise my voice in disbelief than others won't hear me I remember that woman's words of wisdom and I say the same things in a quiet and control manner and guess what most people are not stupid they listen and they hear. Rosie, Alec please for the sake of those kids learn the same thing.

I've lost a great deal of respect for NBC of late. They've lost their journalistic edge and have become a tabloid hype station.

NBC showed the circus like forum when they eagely decided to release the Virginia Tech shooter tape last week. All about the $$$$ and to hell with doing the right thing.

Freedom of Speech also equals freedom of choice NBC. And, many people are simply choosing to flip your channel.

38. For all those people out their who want to blame the kid. And, think she was being a brat for not calling her Dad as the court ordered:

Would you really want to pick up the phone and talk to a father that you're afraid of and uses fear and intimidation? Are you eager and in a hurry to talk with anyone who verbally abuses you? Or do you use avoidance that comes naturally to try and protect yourself?

For very action their is a given reaction. And, Baldwin's anger problem has caused his kid to want to stay clear of him and avoid the SOB like the plague.

This wasn't the first time Baldwin has gone ballistic on his kid. But, it is the first time he's been caught. This tape gives great insight into why and how his child doesn't want to be around him.

39. The original audiotape of Alec Baldwin's answering machine message left Ireland, allegedly, according to TMZ.com, undoctored by his wife, is filled with interruptions and completely inaudible. I don't see how anything Kim Basinger took out or doctored on the answering machine message could change the general tone of emotional child abuse and the implicit threat of physical violence when he said he was going to get on a plane to see her and "straighten her ass out." Sounds like a violent threat to me.

As for Baldwin joining the cast of "The View," how could he? He already has a full-time job on "30 Rock"?

40. If the show is to survive at all, they need to find someone at least middle of the road, as far as politics and life views are concerned. This liberal, bash-on-Bush-and-slam-Elisabeth-fest is not entertaining, in fact, it's insulting to about half of the audience ...who are more aligned with Elisabeth than Babs et al. The only reason people turned in this past year, was to catch the drama of the day from Rosie...cause it was such a train wreck. If they expect to keep an audience, they can not continue to insult those that are not left wing hippies.

41. Another far left liberal? No, absolutely not. And whoever is suggesting this must be okay with him being abusive to his daughter. There should be more balance (and sanity) on that show. Fair and balanced. Two liberals, two conservatives.

43. On the Baldwin story – daughter missed a “scheduled phone call.” She’s a kid, probably didn’t even care when his call was coming through. He should have just left a message such as “Hi, sorry I missed you, call me when you get a chance so we can talk. Love you!”

She has her reasons why she didn’t take the "scheduled" call. Needy dads are creepy.

44. I speak several languages and go into 4 European websites and see their
commentary on a daily basis.
NOWHERE on any FRENCH, GERMAN,SWEDISH, website do I see as much disgusting writing than on the AMERICAN websites.
Europeans are opiniated, very polite and to the point.
Americans are UGLY, namecalling beast's that i am always puzzled why oh why
does America call them "EURO TRASH"
guess what people WE ARE THE TRASH AND NO WONDER WE ARE HATED.
