We're really serious. Alec Baldwin is the solution to the soon-to-be vacancy at "The View."
Think about it. Rosie O'Donnell revived the show because she was bigger than life, opinionated, unpredictable, volatile, funny and smart. In other words, she's the female version of Baldwin.
Yes, it's a left turn to pick a male. But after 10 years on the air, the show is ready for a change. Besides, can you think of a female who can keep that engine running?

82. I hadn't heard the tapes until this morning. He's a classic abuser, and I wouldn't be surprised if it were his own daughter releasing those tapes out of fear. You can bet your bippy, if I were to have heard that on an answering machine, I would be terrified, and I'm a 36 year old woman, and if I heard the father of my child threatening them in that manner, I would be calling the police and filing charges as well. At least the courts had the good sense to drop his visitations rights until the hearing.
