18. I wish everyone would stop saying that Kim is a bad mother. Give me proof of that, like the proof of Alex abusing his child. You know, all of you sound like idiots defending him. Must be nice to put blame onto a mother who has kept private about her hell from Alex. It is apparent he deserves to have limited custody....AND THAT HAS BEEN PROVEN.

To the rest of you who are calling Kim a bad mother, where the hell are you getting that information, because I have looked everywhere for a single bad word said about her on the internet....there is none to be found. So the blame lies squarely on Alex, and no one else.

This man was justifiably frustrated over the way his ex and his daughter were treating him---with no respect. At least he is trying to be a father. Did I say I agree with KIM??? I didn't say anything about KIM. I said if he had a problem with KIM or KIM had a problem with ALEC then they need to leave their daughter out of it. HE DID NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO BERATE AND CALL HIS DAUGHTER NAMES!!! Whether this went public or not he still DID NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO IT. Nor does KIM for that matter.

Alec needs to have a couple of children with a woman who loves him with all of his imperfections, JUST LIKE YOUR PARTNER LOVES YOU. Get it? 28. "Parental Alienation" was originated by a man who condones pedophilia. It is used by pedophiles to defend themselves.

Alec Baldwin is blames everyone but himself for his inexcusable behavior. It doesn't take "two to tango" when it comes to abuse. There is nothing his ex-wife, or his eleven year old daughter could ever do to justify his horrible tirade. The responsibility lies with him, and of course now he is going to try to blame it on anyone and anything else but himself in order to excuse himself. Now he is trying to confuse the issue and put the focus anywhere but where it belongs, on him. I'm just shocked that people in our society actually slurp up his pathetic excuses. It shows exactly why there is so much abuse against women, so much homicide against pregnant women, and why it is so dangerous for women and their children to leave such a man.

There is no excuse, ever, for speaking to a child that way. That's the bottom line. Kim Basinger in a wonderful mother to protect her child and no doubt that is what she has had to do all along.

I find it disgusting that there is any debate whatsoever. I find it offensive that he is given any forum in which to excuse himself and attempt to blame his ex-wife and child.

Do we ask targets of a house robbery to go to counseling with the robber? Do we have any question that they "invited" it somehow? Same thing here. Alec Baldwin is the one doing the abuse and his target is his ex-wife and daughter. He makes it perfectly clear that he has no respect for anyone and even less respect for someone who shouldn't be expected to have to defend herself from her own father.

Rosie is complicit in his crime of abuse for giving him a forum for his blame and further attacks upon his daughter and her mother.

30. Yep there is screaming then there is Screaming, belittling,tearing down a child's self esteem because you are being forced to live with the consequences of your actions is not okay. Let those of us who were married to abusers have the last say on that. Some times mother's and fathers of ex with severe personality disorders have to resort to things we would never have thought of before we made a big mistake and had children with these monsters. You all are clueless to the damages of narcissistic father's or mother's. In this case it is the father. the fact that Kim has been fighting is not proof she is evil it is proof she is trying with all her will and money to let her child grow up healthy. Because children of raging narcissists are not healthy. I have grown children of a man like Baldwin and the damage is so severe. And i tried my best to keep him from them. i am paying the price for his abuse and my kids are also. Do any of you realize that you have no clue. i am not sure if Kim releases the tape. but to my thinking validating her daughter's abuse is a much less evil than exposing her to it so you all can like her. Mamma bear has my support. Alec Baldwin will not get better even with therapy. Because he suffers from an untreatable personality disorder.
