46. This man is a twisted, tortured human. This isn't the first time I've ever heard him in such a tirade!! Someone better do something before he kills someone. Does anyone wonder what he meant when he told his daughter that he was on his way home and would MAKE SURE she understood how he felt? I think taking this tape public may have saved her life. How many kids have to die before we face what is right in front of our noses? I was a battered child AND wife ... I have NO sympathy for this perverted SICKO and that is ALL he is ...... a PIG!!!!!! I hope he's thrown in jail and rots so his little girl can begin to have a NORMAL (whatever that is these days) life of some kind!

47. Did anyone notice that he talks about Parental Alienation which is a real thing but proceeded to badmouth the child's mother, hello pot, kettle. I heard this was a court ordered phone, in Ireland's room (a direct line) so that Kim could not interfere with the scheduled calls. Further do we all lose our tempers of course we do but to threaten to fly down and straighten her ass out, to me is a physical threat, a little girl would be scared and intimidated and really if this is how he tries to build a relationship with his daughter well how is that working for y'all. I also heard the daughter released the tape of her own accord. All parents have made mistakes but everyone who says he didn't own up is right. He should have said "I acted inapproriately I lost my temper and have no excuse and offer my apology to my daughter" well I would have thought better of him. Those kinds of people always have an excuse for their bad behaviour and are the first to critisize others too bad he doesn't hold himself to the same level of courtesy he clearly holds an 11 year old girl to.

48. I cannot wait to hear how he tries to crawl out of the hole he has dug for himself. Be prepared to hear a lot of blaming his ex. Keep in mind this is an abusive man as you listen to his rubbish. By the way he does get paid millions for his ACTING. Truth or fiction you decide. It's always the other person's fault with abusive people. There is no excuse for calling his daughter a pig and threatening her in the way that he did. I would love to see him take the high road and get help- not one week or month but for the rest of his life. He needs to seperate himself from Kim and his daughter for a long time. He is very irrational, controlling and angry. Maybe when she's an adult and when she has seen him try to get better then healing will come and they can have a relationship.

50. All parents have lost their temper. Raising children can be very challenging at times. He loves his daughter and knows he shouldn't of yelled at her but everytime a parent yells at a child doesn't mean the parent shoud be threatened he is going to loose their child.
I am tired of all these newscasters pretending they have never yelled or threatened their child just because they have never been caught and all has been fogotten.

51. It is my understanding that Kim B and Alec B have court document where they both agreed to visitation times and phone call times between Dad and daughter.

It sounded to me on the voice message this HAS NOT BEEN THE FIRST TIME Ireland did not answer the phone at the designated time.

This clearly shows Ireland not being responsible and her mother not teaching her manners, hospitality, and respect for the agreement made on Ireland's behalf.

I remember when Kim Bassinger bought a whole town in Ga. she obviously didn't know what to do with it and went bankrupt, she owed Millions of dollars and I remember Alec Baldwin paid her bills, all of them. She married him. She got pregnant, she soon got rid of him. Everytime you saw them fighting in the street she looked upset and he looked angry and bully like, I doubt that Kim is that much of a shrinking violet, she must have known he was a NY loudmouth, she had to have dated him first, right? I have heard people on the street call their kids worse, far worse than what Alec said, I don't think his daughter is a shrinking violet either, she was laughing and smiling with her mom soon after. I don't have to wonder where the tape came from either, anyone working for court TV could get that, there was no gag order on it and its legal to help yourself to peoples personal info. It shouldn't be but it is. I don't think that Alec Baldwin has an anger problem, I think that he comes from a big NY family with 4 brothers he fought with and that's just the way he is, he is also stretched to the limit with this parental rights thing, Kim Bassinger has the upper hand and she uses it all the time, she lives like a recluse until now, she is out and about with a protective arm around her daughter. What really gets me is all of the people who say "I would never talk to my daughter like that", you all lie, or else you have no kids. I called my kids everything for skunks to swine and even threw in the B word in on ocassion, but I admit it. They are grown now and their little psyches have not been damaged, mine is but they're cool. I hope that people leave this couple alone, what alec said was not that big of a deal but for some reason they just won't let it rest, the courts will handle it, in Kims favor no doubt, so stop gloating over things that were said when all of us have said worse things in anger. He didn't molest a child or kill anyone, he obvioulsy loves her or he wouldn't be so upset over not being able to talk to her. I think he should just pay his child support and stay out of her life completely until she is 18, if she wants to talk to him then she can, meanwhile she can just live without a father, since he is such a bad one, she will also see who is to blame by then and she can make her own decision.

Countless judges now recognize his theory for being a fraud and nothing more than a device to switch custody....and it seems that Rosie , has put her BIG FAT FOOT IN HER BIG DUMB MOUTH AND HAS HURT COUNTLESS CHILDREN WHO ARE REALLY BEING ABUSED. 55. O.K....someone needs to explain this to me.

Alec Baldwin can call his ex a "pain in the ass" to his daughter, and that is just a frustrated father venting his anger over things his ex has done to him...

But...

Anything negative thing Kim has ever said about Alec in front of the girl is parental alienation, because there is nothing Alec could ever have done that would justify Kim badmouthing him to his child.

And then there is...

On the one hand, this vm rant is just a frustrated father lashing out because he once again went through extraordinary heroics to talk to his beloved daughter and couldn't, and the language is no big deal, just what parents say sometimes...

But...

Leaking this tape was such a humiliating event for the kid that whoever did it is one thousand times the abuser that anyone who just calls her names in private could ever be.

Sorry people, you can't have it both ways.

Personally, I think Alec needs to grow up and realize this is a kid. From what I know of 11 year old girls, none of them want to spend any more time with their parents than they have to (to get what they want), or talk to them if they don't have to. If my parents screamed at me like this everytime I was unresponsive to one of them at this age, they would have permanently lost their voices. And I wouldn't have changed my behavior just because they "straigtened me out". Alec, please save the anger for the important stuff.

Beyond the tape, I don't know who did what here. All I know is that a judge (who is privy to everything) cut off Alec's rights to see his kid in what s/he had to know would be a really high-profile, carefully scrutinized case. Sure, courts favor moms in custody. But cutting out the dad completely is not something they do lightly.

I don't know how people can take sides in this very complex case based on one taped conversation, one-sided interviews and a whole bunch rumor and speculation. It seems like you are mostly just projecting your own experiences with bad marriages, which may or may not have anything to do with the situation here. Just let the rage go, and move on....

57. It is amazing how frightened Americans still are of a woman with a strong opinion. I do not always agree with Rosie, but, I NEVER agree with Donald Trump. Why is it when someone doesn't agree with the president they are Anti-American??? Obviously, we have many Americans who are very poor at history and government.

Daytime TV is bad enough! The View will be finished for me. Joy is very funny, but, she was great with another comic there to play off of. There isn't another daytime show where you can laugh and still be made to examine your opinions and be forced to hear both sides of an important issue.

58. You know I think the man has a legimate beef with the kid. He obviously is frustrated that he makes the effort to keep in touch with her because he loves her and she doesn't even remember that he is going to call. How would you feel? He was HURT, and if anyone out there has ever gone thru a divorce, you can surely understand the problems between him and his wife and how the mother says things to the kid about her dad. He is her dad, no changing that. But come on we all know his ex gave that tape to the media. We weren't born yesterday. The kid didn't do it. So she is just as unfit to put that out to the public and hurt her daughter even more. And things are so screwed up today, what the hell is up with 11 year olds having cell phones. The world is going to hell in a handbag. Kids don't need phone.

60. I think MOST if not ALL of us have done or said something that is equivalent to this recording. You might be so angry or annoyed at the time that you might not even be aware. Here's the difference. You don't have vindictive ex-spouses leaking it to the media cause her career is floundering and yours is florishing. BIG DIFFERENCE ... NO HUGE DIFFERENCE. I know myself ... I've said things that I shouldn't have or done things I shouldn't have in anger and regretted them. CAN YOU SAY YOU HAVEN'T DONE THE SAME IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE?? If you can you are either lying or in denial. Cause I haven't seen many saints walking this earth lately.

Give the man a break. He's under a big microscope and this is an issue that should've stayed between him and his daughter and if Kim that abusive mother for leaking this had a true problem with it without wanting to win brownie points ... she should've just took it strait to the Judge to address. But no she didn't ... she and her pack of weasels leaked this information out for her own self-centered reason and for sympathy.

Sympathy at the cost of her daughter's feelings. Hey Kim, you decided to marry Alec and have a child with him. Don't you think when you speak negatively of him it's not hurting Ireland too since she is part of him too. And I'm not going to just point this to you ... this goes to you too Alec. Though, I believe your words were uncalled for and harsh. I do understand that this hasn't been easy for you too. But both of you got to agree to disagree and keep the peace for Ireland's sake. DO YOU WANT HER TO BE THE NEXT LINDSAY LOHAN or A CARTER KID (aka Nick, Aaron, or one of their messed up sisters), or PARIS HILTON, BRITNEY SPEARS, shall I GO ON. I don't think either of you really do. THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK. Both you guys are A MILLLLLLION PERCENT WRONG!! Get over the situation between you two and do what's right for your child.
