Leggy "American Idol" runner-up Katharine McPhee strutted out of a rehearsal studio in Burbank yesterday in a tight black tank, short shorts and platform heels. Idolicious!
While it's rumored that she was rehearsing with an African children's choir for an "American Idol" appearance with Josh Groban, TMZ contacted a FOX rep who denied that Kat will be on tonight's show. We'll see!
Sadly, America has voted on Kat's new single, and they're "Over It."

(Page 3 of 3) Previous 15 Comments | 1 | 2 | 3I've actually had the opportunity to listen to Katharine McPhee's debut album, and I have to say that she has one AMAZING voice!! And anybody that says otherwise (i.e. the TMZ.com prick who took that musical pot shot at her) should stick their head up their ass, because that's where their brains are!! She's leaves Taylor Hicks in her dust!! (Why that hack won on A.I., I will never now) I've heard his record, too, and...IT SUCKS!!!
Looksl like Cameron Diaz to me. I would assume if it is Katherine that she was hoping to be on the show. Doesn't make sense if the assumption is she was going to sing with Josh and the choir that she didn't. She tries to work anything she can. I read that her cd sales were a dissappointment so far. I think she should have stuck to what she was doing on the show if she wanted to make mass sales after all..that is part of why people voted for her.
SHE IS TALENTED AND HUMBLE -- AND THAT IS RARE -- SHE DOES NOT GET ENOUGH PRESS BECAUSE SHE IS NOT CRAZY LIKE THE REST!!!!!!
I loved Kat's voice from day one on her audition and the top 24, which by the way had nothing to do with her looks. She has a smooth, warm, fluent beautiful tone to her voice.
I've listened to a lot of music lately to compare vocal tones( based solely on the sound )and Kat Mcphee's voice far surpasses many current popular artists in today's music.
I don't see any reason to cruelly bash her, when there so many other artists out there who barely make the grade, but are idolized by millions when they sound like crap, especially during live performances.
By the way, why hasn't Kat been on Idol, when her song was voted number 1 on their on website???
Katharine, Just in case you've not learned to pass these blogs/board by?? You're doing great. When you get past the Idol contract David and the others will still be there.
Don't pay any attention to the "haters." They just lead VERY bored lives and have nothing better to do than diss the people who have talent. (Because they don't.)
You are one of the most talented people spotlighted by Idol in six seasons! Pay attention to the people that have your best interest in mind and ignore the rest.
You go girl.
tls, I noticed her voice first also. I believe it was "Think" that I heard first but not sure. Anyway, she gave me chills. I'm a senior that has been waiting a while (since Connie Francis) to hear a really good voice that I could enjoy! Kat is it.
Now, if she'd just do a jazz and blues CD! Awww!
