Smart Alec? Baldwin Does "The View"

166. I am sick and tired of all of these celebrities who think they are the know-all, be all, end all on every topic from politics to global warming to child reaaring. Alec and Rosie are so impressed by their own opinions that it will be interesting to see if they can actually have a conversation. I won't be watching, of course, since I cannot stomach another minute of the View until this loud-mouthed, vile-spewing and unpatriotic heathen is off the show. God help me, I have begun to agree with Trump when it comes to Rose...What is the world coming to????

167. this mess has gone on for over 6 yrs. whats wrong with the judge in this . as to kim what kind of a mother puts her child thru this kind of turmoil, one that is bitter. she chose alex n chose to have a child by him. as a person of a broken home with an abusive father my mother never critized him in front of us. he didnt want to see us n it was his loss, but she told us many times no matter how they felf about each other they did love one another at one time. why cant kim get past this n let go. her child is the one suffering thru all this. its pure vengence on her part. was he wrong for what he said yes but there is no parent alive who hasnt lost their temper with their child n said things they later regretted. she has violated court orderover 10 times as far as visitation goes. thats wrong.
as far as people going on about them being nutty liberals please get over it. everyone in this country is entitled to their own opinions .
i hope the judge in this case takes this child away from kim until she is willing to act like an adult n move on. the one getting the raw deal is ireland. some day kim might regret what she has sown. he deserves a chance to be a father . they both need counseling big time.

170. to me some of the hollywood stars need to take a serious look at thierself and what they turn thier kids into . they do not even want to take responsibility for their own actions so why would thier kids . also i agree with the fact that Alec needs to calm down and like i said maybe realise his daughter learned to be a selfish brat pig some where and to me hearing him talk it sounds as if it came from him.

Although I'm not condoning Alec's tone of voice or what he called his daughter, I can understand his frustration when he has been trying to do what the court asks of him and his wife is fighting him every step. I'm sure Ireland is being manipulated by her mother just to aggitate Alec because she knows his temper and what buttons to push. If she was a good mother and "really loved her daughter" she would encourage Ireland to talk to her father and if Ireland had a problem with doing that Kim should have encouraged her to tell her father she has a problem with him "before" it got to this point. This has been going on a long time, it didn't just happen overnight. Parents should never use their children has a weapon during a divorce but due to the mental capacity of the mother in this case the daughter will lose unless BOTH parents wake up in time. I would suggest to Alec....make up your mind that Kim is Ireland's mother and that's it...never lose your temper over her manipulations; it's just not worth it. No one can these type of things to you unless you allow it to happen. God Bless all of you.

173. I hope the judge in their custody case review his message. I don't care how upset you are that kind of behavior is horrible for a child. Heck, it isn't ok for an adult. Thank God Kim & her daughter left. One day he is going to really snap. Any woman that is with him doesn't understand how a man should treat you....heck just a human being & really needs to be helped. I can't wait to see him on the view & hear his explanation. I hope Barbara & all of them really dig into him but hopefully he won't throw any chairs etc. That man should not be a parent. No child should be spoken to like that.

174. Kim is wrong for releasing that private message he left for his daughter. As for Alec, he should of just surprised his daughter by getting on the plane and visiting her instead of using it as a threat. As for us viewers, we really can't judge because we don't know all the facts. Not to mention how embarrassing this must be for the daughter now that everyone has heard her father's message. How are her peers reacting towards her?

175. Would someone stop and realize that Alec's anger IS at his ex - she has been blocking his visitation to his daughter for years and his anger has reached the boiling point. We don't know the part of the conversation - the part edited out by her mother before she released it - where she said things to him put into her little head by her hateful mother. When will we all reallize that the two adults in an effort to hurt each other are just hurting their daughter who will grow up to be who knows what - a druggie - a nut case like her parents - for sure a confused woman looking for a daddy and love- another Anna Nicole.
This is a sad case which never should have been put into the public domain - shame on Kim.

179. #147 - I'm an Independent. Just calling a spade, a spade. You want everyone to close their eyes, or ears, to abusive and destructive speech? If a teacher were to hear a parent speaking that way to a student, it would be their legal responsiblity to report it to Child Protective Services. Politics should have nothing to do with this issue, but some are bringing it in. It's obvious Rosie is sympathetic to Baldwin because of his politics. She claims to be a child advocate. If a prominant Republician, like say, George W. Bush, had been on tape with this tirade, instead of Baldwin, she would be tearing him to shreds.

180. I heard that another mag is coming out with a story about Alec cussing at Ireland at an airport over the way she packed her suitcase. Sounds like this abuse is something Ireland is very familiar with!
