Smart Alec? Baldwin Does "The View"

196. I will surely admit that Alec used words with a child that he should have not have used. Period, no excuse. Calling her a pig is not done under any circumstance. BBUUTT - he was absolutely right to be mad, fed up with games, daughter not respecting him, etc. 12 years old is plenty old enough to remember a phone call date with a Dad trying to stay in touch. I fault KIM BASINGER for not uniting with Alec and presenting a unified front on child rearing. She likely new of the phone date and as a mother she had the responsibility of making sure her daughter took the call, and reminded her. Child custody disputes are not nice, but at all times the parents should be teaching their child the rules of life, morals, and common courtesy. This is sorely lacking in this situation. And if Mom knew nothing of the scheduled call, then once again shame on the kid for not being respectful and available. It is quite obvious this happens all the time and Alec is fed up with being treated so unfairly.

197. Wow.. two BULLIES on the show at the same time.. WHO WILL BE IN CONTROL? I just heard where Rosie is leaving the show because they won't give her the money she is asking for..... and Barbara says she'd like to have her back. NOW you all know how they wanted STAR to leave by saying the reason was something different. !!!! BUT STAR chose not to lie to her fans and viewers. SOOOOOOO here we go with another lie. It's called to save face. EVERYONE I KNOW.. is writting into the view and telling them how upset they are with ROSIE and how they have quit watching it now.. plus how they are not buying the sponsors merchandise as long as ROSIE is still on the show. The e-mails are going around saying NOT to buy and to boycott so they get her off the show. Looks like it worked.

AND the two bullies on the FRI show should be interesting to see.. just who can lie the most.
Sorry Rosie thinks talking like Alec did to his daughter is ok.. maybe this is why people should be looked at more closely before being allowed to adopt. Calling your children names maybe what is wrong with so many kids now a days.. We just had a terrible shotting at the Virginia TECH campus over someone that was mentally unstable. Stop calling your children names and causing them to feel unloved and maybe creating another shooter. Stop treating your children like they are toys.!!!!!!! They are NOT.. they are small humans that have feelings also. No matter if there is a custody fight going on... or not.. stop putting these children in the middle and talking to them that way and causing problems for them. AND STOP TALKING SO RUDE TO THEM AND CALLING THEM NAMES. Just remember.. one day they may be calling you names later on in your life.. and it will not be what you want them to say to you.

199. Alex is a narcissist and that is what you call a narcissitic rage. He is embarrassed, narcissist injury, not missing his daughter but mad that she does not play his public relations game by making people think he father of the year. (The Donald- OJ- the world is full of them) That, I am sure why Kim divorced him and why his daughter avoids him. They are vindictive and scary when things don't go their way; don't let the charm fool you...I always thought he had a bad temper; it comes through in public all the time. He needs help and good luck to Kim in trying to protect her daughter and herself from this jerk and his wrath.

200. Instead of accusing them of being zealot liberals.. Just post: I'm a conservative *explicit* and they are *random remark* liberals, so i will attack them based on that and not the facts of what is going on.. or if you want to defend them write it in reverse. The funny thing is, how few people realise that it's the taking of sides that ruins our countries, maybe we should drop our "teams" and support "who's best" but no, because 90% of political *explicits* don't have a clue what's best for our country, they just would rather berate the "other side" your all a bunch of donkeys (what's another word for donkey that starts with J?)

201. I think that Alec showed great restraint. My older brother has a thoughtless little girl who plays the same games with Mommy's influence. He bends over backwards to provide for her Mother's free-welfare-money mentality and yet the little girl is allowed to disrespect the Daddy who gives her everything and she adores the ex-con live in. She too is a little pig. Thanks for the new pet name. It was much better than the name I had for my niece. Mine rhymed with Witch.

203. Parent Alienation is VERY REAL!

I am an alienated mother, my children and I had an AMAZING relationship until the other parent began the campaign of Alienating the children from me, he has been able to keep me from them LEGALLY with fabricated false accusations, and the help of ACS and the Courts.

The system NEEDS to stop enabling this type of CHILD ABUSE and hold the alienator accountable!

I now have a Claim against the City and ACS for malicious Prosecution and Negligent Misrepresentation.

But that will NEVER UNDO THE EMOTIONAL DAMAGE THAT HAS BEEN DONE TO MY CHILDREN!

205. posting 134.... I agree with you Carol. I never watched The View until Rosie came on, and I watch it now every day. I guess this will now free up a hour each day for me when she leaves, because I won't be watching the show.
I believe that Rosie left because they wanted her to go. They know she brought up the ratings, and if they truely wanted to keep up the good ratings, they would have worked with her. They would have agreed to keep her for another year. This 3 year story is just that. A story in my opinion.
People may not always agree with what she saids, but she sure made the show interesting.

207. Alec Baldwin is going through the same frustration as millions of men that are unfairly discriminated against by the family courts system in the United States. The court system does not benefit the family whatsoever, it pumps the wealth out into the courts and lawyers pockets and them dumps when no more money is there. These judge laugh about it, they could careless about the children and what is in there best interest. They don't care that the childrens mother is a drug user or that her boyfriend inappropriately touches their underage daughter or that their son has displine problems. Everybody is victimized by the family court system and no body wins except the lawyers and judges that get rich off all the kickbacks. This system is corupt and immoral and needs to be destroyed. It is ruining the future of our children and a drain on productively of the United States. Millions of families are destroyed and fathers are exiled out of their families, alieniated, and hundreds of thousands are left homeless and destitute. Like Baldwin, these men love their children and don't feel whole when their children aren't a part of their children's lives. We need to destroy this epicdemic before this destroys America. 210. I have no respect for this man. Hearing that voicemail was a flashback to my childhood; my dad delivered similar tirades over things equally silly. The day I said I'd be at school late with an extracurricular activity and was 15 minutes later than I'd expected. A missed phone call is not worth abusing you child, and it sounds like she might be avoiding his phone calls for a reason. My heart goes out to this girl- I thought it was bad to have threats handed down to me, often being called a “fucking moron” in front of my friends; imagine suffering though insults similar to this on national news. He'll be sorry when she grows up, and the court can no longer order those phone calls and visits.
