196. this mess has gone on for over 6 yrs. whats wrong with the judge in this . as to kim what kind of a mother puts her child thru this kind of turmoil, one that is bitter. she chose alex n chose to have a child by him. as a person of a broken home with an abusive father my mother never critized him in front of us. he didnt want to see us n it was his loss, but she told us many times no matter how they felf about each other they did love one another at one time. why cant kim get past this n let go. her child is the one suffering thru all this. its pure vengence on her part. was he wrong for what he said yes but there is no parent alive who hasnt lost their temper with their child n said things they later regretted. she has violated court orderover 10 times as far as visitation goes. thats wrong.
as far as people going on about them being nutty liberals please get over it. everyone in this country is entitled to their own opinions .
i hope the judge in this case takes this child away from kim until she is willing to act like an adult n move on. the one getting the raw deal is ireland. some day kim might regret what she has sown. he deserves a chance to be a father . they both need counseling big time.

197. alec should not have taken his anger out on his daughter and kim should lose custody. from the start of a divorce there should be equal custody that would put an end to the parental alienation. in the best intrest of a child is a joke its more like in the best intrest of the state. follow the money!!!! the states are making a killing destroying the american family.our taxes are funding the states by federal insentives for all the child support they can steal! follow the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

198. I have no respect for this man. Hearing that voicemail was a flashback to my childhood; my dad delivered similar tirades over things equally silly. The day I said I'd be at school late with an extracurricular activity and was 15 minutes later than I'd expected. A missed phone call is not worth abusing you child, and it sounds like she might be avoiding his phone calls for a reason. My heart goes out to this girl- I thought it was bad to have threats handed down to me, often being called a “fucking moron” in front of my friends; imagine suffering though insults similar to this on national news. He'll be sorry when she grows up, and the court can no longer order those phone calls and visits.

199. Every parent silps up. Alec is not the first or the last to do this. I just hope that he understands what harm can come from this and handles his anger in better ways. He needs to relize that its not the daughter that he is angry with, It's his ex wife.

200. 2 issues here after listening to the tape.
1 He obviously loves his daughter
2. He hates the ex wife
The anger was more towards the wife .
I believe when he next meets up with the daughter he will be as cool as a puppy..his threats were at the peak of his anger ..there will be calm b4 after the storm.
Which father has not shouted at son or daughter ? !!

206. I WAS SHOCKED TO HEAR ALEC BALDWIN ON "THE VIEW". HE BASICALLY USED THE SHOW AS A PLATFORM TO PROMOTE HIS NEW BOOK ABOUT PARENTAL ALIENATION. DO YOU REALLY THINK HE HAS NEVER SPOKEN TO HIS CHILD THAT WAY/ DO YOU THINK THE ONE AND ONLY TIME HE DID HE WAS CAUGHT ON TAPE? DOES HE THINK WE ARE MORONS? HE IS THE STEREOTYPICAL NARCISSCIST, DOMINATING THE CONVERSATION WITH EXCUSES AND FINGER POINTING.

207. Baldwin's rant to Ireland brought back a memory when my father and mother were going through their breakup. One day my father took his anger out on me, AND I HAVE NEVER FORGOTTEN THAT INCIDENT OR HIS WORDS!!!! No matterwhat my father did from that point forward couldnot heal my wounds. My grandmother would say that whatever comes out ofy our mouth cannot be returned or erased. Baldwin has to live with this, and only he has himself to blame. Stop passing the buck to your wife, and stop looking for more dirty laundry to deflect your actions or YOUR words. Shut up, why don't you!

If this is how he talks to a wonderful, innocent child, what must he have said to his wife Kim in anger, when he didn't get his way, or she got more coverage, or whatever can set off a nasty, self centered, immature man.. Can you imagine? This is who Alex B (the "b" word") is, and that's that. He needs to go into recovery.

I watched him very carefully ,always keeping in mind that, he's an actor. When I saw him pick up and read from some index card, I said he's an actor forgetting his lines and needs the prop to remember. So sad........not only is he an actor, he's a stupid actor. His attorney forgot to tell him not to pick up the index card on camera. This is negligent and Baldwin should fire the attorney, and maybe get a nanny or a director to better handle his performances. I'm not convinced.

Alex B is writing a book. A new venue to beat up his wife a little more. Abuse is abuse regardless of how you sugar coat it to feed it to the public.- the American People. I can't imagine his wife living with this man and never knowing when he's going to let lose, and go off.

Lastly, why isn't anybody calling him fat?

208. Yes it was over the top,but every parent has said something to there child in the heat of the moment that they regret. If you have not your not human or not involved and dont care. Divorce brings out the worst in the nicest people ,expecially if one parent is making it hard on the other with the children.GET ALONG FOR THE SAKE OF THE CHILD!!! and things like this would happen less often. By the way he should not lost his rights to see the child ,both parents need therapy!!!!!!

210. Finally, the truth on Parent Alienation. Balwin did a good job of explaining and the fact, Kim is alienating her own mother. What does that say? Who has the real problem? Ireland can't see her grandmother? Go Alec, many children are suffering at the hands of an alienating parent.

I do not condone his verbal message and some words used, but how many parents have not yelled at their kids and regretted it later?
