Birkhead's Bahamian Exit Blocked

TMZ has learned Virgie Arthur has filed an appeal, attempting to block Larry Birkhead's ability to take baby Dannielynn to the U.S.

Arthur has objected to a judge's ruling allowing Birkhead to take his little girl to the States, providing that he returns with his baby for a June 9 custody hearing.

Arthur's appeal is unusual to say the least, since she is a grandmother who herself lives in the U.S. Ironically, she is the one who argued that Anna and Daniel be buried in Texas and not the Bahamas. Now, she wants Anna's child to stay in the Bahamas.

There will be public court hearing tomorrow. Stay tuned.

8. i'm just tired of this entire thing....
allow father and child to be together....virgie, just settle for being a grandmother, you were always allied w/ larry in the beginning, don't ruin it......and howard can just go away....he had so much to do with enabling anna and now he is larry's best friend...howard sticks close to the money.

12. Virgie is crazy! It seems that Anna Nicole Smith was right about her mother.
I hope when Larry gets his baby that he never lets that woman near the baby. She is ridiculous and not trustworthy. How long is she going to continue with this charade. The Bahamian courts should end this and let Larry go home with his child.

14. It was reported on Nancy Grace that she had another scheduled visit with Dannielynn over the weekend and she was a no show. She only wants to be a grandmother? Yeah right.

15. I think Virgie should crawl back into her hole. All she is looking for is MONEY! Anna is probably rolling over in her grave right now. The hatred she had for her mother on that ET interview was pretty evident! She doesn't care for the baby...she just wants to get her hands on the money. She is scum to be putting Larry through this and one day when she is older Dannilyn will see with her own eyes all these reports and hate her grandmother as much as her mother did to put Larry through this!!!!!!
