Cops: Sandra Bullock Watches as Hubby Attacked!

Sandra and Jesse JamesPolice sources tell TMZ that a woman obsessed with Sandra Bullock almost killed Sandra's husband, motorcycle mogul Jesse James, during a frightening attack at the couple's Orange County home late Sunday night.

Cops say that Bullock, along with James' 10-year-old child, looked on in horror as Marcia Valentine "attempted 3 or 4 times to run Jesse James over with her silver Mercedes." Jesse was never struck by the car during the alleged incident.

We're told Valentine also "laid in the driveway and wouldn't move."

Orange County Sheriffs were contacted and responded to the scene, but Valentine allegedly fled before they arrived. After an intense manhunt, officers located Valentine early Monday morning and took her into custody.

Valentine is being held on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

UPDATE: In an exclusive statement to TMZ, the couple's rep, Cheryl Maisel, said, "The incident did occur. Both Jesse James and Sandra Bullock are fine and it is now in the hands of the authorities."

5. Another wack job. I'm tired of these insane losers on the streets who get away with nothing more than a visit by aloon doctor and released. A shot through the wind shield with a 45 magnum would have ended this situation.

6. Sandra Bullock seems like a respectful celebrity, she keeps her name out of the Tabs, and Jesse James builds the coolest bikes, and doesn't bother anybody, this is a shame, but there seems to an obsessed stalker around every corner.

7. I've noticed quite a few posters on TMZ who are obsessed with Larry Birkhead and his baby and I can see them doing something like this. I hope he has good security when he comes back to California.

8. Iagree with #4. Sandra Bullock has classs and dignity unlike others I will notmention. She leads a quiet life. This nut stalker needs to be put away. What is this stalker going to do when she gets out of jail in a day or two? Go IN Sandra's house!! David Letterman used to have a stalker who would routinely break inot his Conn. house. The stalker wa salready through the gate and at the front door.
Put crazy people, stalkers away for some real long time in a nutcase, insane aslyum . That is where they belong. Suppose this crazy stalker had a gun. She was so there and so close she could have shot Snadra.

14. Washington-Lee thanks for posting that. The media has portrayed her as sugary sweet and innocent. I am glad to know the truth. I won't watch another of her rotten movies that is for sure. And sorry for what happened to you.

15. ok #8 Sandra Bullock is how old??? 40 something and that would make you about the same. You are seriously saying that you are wishing someones husband gets KILLED because she threw a frickin apple at you probably 30 years ago? I think you need some major couch time. I was an overweight girl as well and was picked on but get over it and get over yourself stop blaming others and look at yourself. you need couch time.
