You can say racism, poor folks, lack of education and even healthcare. But the true problem in the black community is black men don't put their ladies and families first. The only reality they see is $$$$$$$$$. He meant what he said. He is retracting his statement now because his record label demanded he do it.

These communities are struggling, and the black community and impoverished communities are essentially handing over the keys to the murderers, thugs, & thieves. There are more constructive ways to address this horrible social problem than this, "Stop Snitching" BS. I am sooooooo disgusted with the music industry right now. It's all garbage.

98. I didn't watch it, but just reading that he said something like that and got his publicist to write up an apology makes me sick.
That's just called cowardice. I've lived in bad neighborhoods before and you better believe I called the cops every single damn time something bad happened.
This whole mentality of letting criminals get away with crap just b/c you don't want to be looked upon as a snitch is just so freaking ignorant and just plain sad.
No wonder crime is up so much.
No wonder why every single night I watch the NEWS I always hear about multiple stories of someone getting shot and of course no one wants to come forward.

It's just sickening to think that people COULD be making a difference.. COULD be making their "ghettos" into safe areas, but choose not to b/c of pure ignorance.

102. #107-I don't care what your race is-the comment that you made was totally ignorant and pathetic!!!!!!!! Just because you don't agree with something that someone said, there is NO reason for using that word!!
If someone has real good reason to believe that someone is a serial killer, then call the police anonymously and tell them and give reasons to back it up if you're afraid for whatever reason of doing it on your own phone or in person.
I don't think that the rapper who originally made the statement about not turning in a serial killer had anything to do with being a african american at all. But people feel the need (or hate) to make it into that, or anything else their feeble and racist mind wants to conjure up-and that is why things can get so negative and out of hand today.
Whether you agree with someone or not, WHY does the color of one's skin even have to come into play, if what they said wasn't racist to begin with????? And to use the N-word and the other blatent foul language that is being used on here is just shameful and sad, to say the least.
People do need to think before they open their mouth sometimes, but if and when this type of thing begins coming out of them, then there is something seriously wrong with their hearts AND minds. But again, it's so easy to hide behind a computer and spew their hateful and filthy words. It's so easy to point the finger at others when they say/do something wrong, but until each person begins to take responsibility for the wrongdoing in their own lives, nothing will dramatically change for the better!
No one in this world is perfect, but some could sure use a attitude adjustment, a brain/heart transplant, and/or just strive to be a all around better person!!!!!!!!!!!
