32. Wow, this is great! #2, you are at Columbia College? Well, when I graduated from there we called it Columbia "University". Hmm "I don't agree with the way "you" doing business, nice grammar. Also, don't you mean fair and "balanced" way? Hopefully, "bever" is just a typo.What a shining example of journalism, and here I thought you had to be able to write a sentence all this time. 33. He put on a great act. That is all it was, an act, he is an ACTOR.
Comes in there unshaved, looking pitiful and so repentent, what a freaking phony.
And people here fall for that act. He is a hater and always has been.

There are millions more deadbeat Dads than Moms. Believe me it is the children and the mothers that suffer from most divorces. The Dad boogies without a second thought.
The Mom and kids live in poverty. Pardon me for not really caring to much about father's rights.

34. Alec, I understand where you are coming from. My son had a child and never married. We were able to be a family for nine years and then the mother married a nut case. All of a sudden no one could talk or see him. He was pulled out of public school to be home schooled, moved to the middle of nowhere. We finally got a call from our Grandson only to be told he hated us and never wants to see us. We know that his stepfather made him do this. It is so frustrating. Good Luck Alec. I know how you feel!!!!

36. A father has a really hard time understanding or admitting that it isn't the mother standing in the way of his relationship but the child herself or himself might not want to be around him. I know of cases like this. Mother might be working hard to get the child and parent together but child will have none of it.

A father makes a disastrous mistake when he criticizes a girl's mother. She takes her identity from her mother. A divorce is hard enough. "If father doesn't love mother, how can he love me? I'm very much like her. He criticizes her so he must not like those things about me because I'm a lot like her."

Men are stupid.

Alec Baldwin is stupid.

There might be some truth to parental alienation, but get to the real bottom of it and find that the father created the alienation. It's very hard to make a child stop loving someone.

I think you have selective hearing because he appologized an accepted responsibility for his actions. He wasn't blaming everybody else for losing his temper. He does, however, blame his ex for the bad situation he's in with regard to custody.

He "threatened" to SPEAK to his daughter about her thoughtless behavior - stop throwing that word threaten around as if he said he was going to kick her ass or something.

And what about Kim leaking the voicemail - causing this media focus on her daughter, humiliating her daughter in public, getting body guards and stress in general? That's far wors then what Alec did. Kim is creating a hostile environment.

It wasn't right that he called his daughter a pig - but even still, you are over reacting and likely a hypocrite

If filing court documentation pertaining to contempt claiming Kim, her attorney's, or others leaked 'the tape' IN VIOLATION OF A COURT ORDER that prohibits discussing this case, then why does this abuser believe he has the lawful right to go on national TV to try his case, discuss matters involved in the case, and too, to denigrate his former wife to the public?

His complaint in this regard remains being one - that HE looked bad in the public eye.

As all abusers do he does exactly that, which he claims the other party does - I would regard this appearance on national TV a violation of the same gag order he claims his wife violated with the release of the tape.

A Baldwin going on national TV and denigrating the former wife, as he did, I hope is not lost on the opposing party or Judge.

Abusers often take a stand or position of a hurt and sensitive man who does not 'really understand' how everything has gotten so bad - this was a manipulation of the public after the fact.

Look inward Baldwin - your aggressive behavior patterns throughout the past could be a real issue for you and one that needs addressing by you and mental health professionals.

39. The person that gave the tape to Harvey ( Kim ) and Harvey both are very WEAK minded individuals for trying to gain happiness off of a child and father dispute. Or Maybe Kim needed MORE money? I think even more of Alec than I did before, JOB WELL DONE !

42. No matter what the situation what he did was absolutely WRONG. You do not talk to a child like that - EVER!!! That is a form of abuse. Why is this acceptable to so many people. Everyone should be up in arms about this. I am surprised as Rosie since she is so pro-children. But I realize she has a long standing relationship with the Baldwins. No matter what Alec was so wrong in so many ways.

43. From pictures I saw of him with his wife, she looked a little distant . . . .the kind of distance one keeps from a person who is very controlling. She was a vivacious actress who became a somber shadow of herself after being with him. I base my opinion on interviews and still pictures before and after. So many women are beaten down mentally and the controlling man is always charming and has a pity story for everyone. The pathetic part is that it's usually women who fall for the story.

Of course divorce is awful, yet why would such a public woman want such distance from this man and try to force the truth to come out?????? She knows the consequences and yet she is standing fast. Imagine what happened when she wanted to do something at the same time he had plans? He is a controlling personality and a controlling personality wants it their way, no matter what and if you don't do it their way, there is hell to pay!

Shame on the View for giving him the time of day!
