Jennifer Love Hewitt $ued by Former Manager

Jennifer Love HewittTMZ has obtained a lawsuit filed against sexy TV star Jennifer Love Hewitt. The suit, filed Friday in a Los Angeles County Superior Court, claims Hewitt owes her former management company for brokering the seven-year deal for her hit show "The Ghost Whisperer."

In court docs obtained by TMZ, Handprint Management alleges that J-Love breached her contract, and claims her career had been stalled prior to landing a role on the hit series. They say their work brought her "back to national prominence as a television star."

Jennifer cut ties with Handprint in March 2005, but the lawsuit claims that her big deal for "Ghost" was struck on their watch. Handprint also says Hewitt has refused to pay for the second season.

The suit is seeking a minimum of $350,000 in damages.

31. I would hope that JLH wins; however, her paying Handprint for the first "GW" season could
be seen by the courts as some kind of strategic mistake on her part.

32. "What's $350 K to JLH?" Well, the lawsuit from Handprint, if you'll re-read the article, asks
for a MINIMUM of that amount. It could get much bigger.

33. Read elsewhere,that JLH had taken a former Handprint employee,Danielle Thomas,as
her personal manager!

Would that not be a reason for Handprint launching a SECOND lawsuit?

Looks kind of weird if you ask me.
