20. ellen's show is the best thing on daytime tv. she's funny, entertaining and nice to people. and she's a huge animal lover! ellen's grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat! i know she's had a recurring back problem so i'm sorry to see it's flared up again and hope it's a short recovery.

21. Wow, I hope she isn't hurting too bad. I have a bad back and have had one for 25 years. It sucks big time!! Ellen doesn't have a back up like Regis and Kelly. If she isn't there they would have to show reruns. She doesn't want that for her fans, I'm sure.

The reason she does all of those events is because she is Popular, Talented and Gracious.

The reason she wasn't hurt on today's show is because they are pre taped!!!

24. You guys are so mean, I can't believe it. Ellen has worked non-stop all season, she's probably exhausted. I think her show is great and she works non-stop for charities too! You must all still be in Howard K Stern mode. Out to get somebody!

WOW .... you would think that judging by the comments here Ellen wouldn't have the #1 daytime talk show. Give her a break you guys. Ellen's funny as hell, I watch her every day. She has been complaining about her back for a couple of weeks now. I don't think she's doing this for ratings, although if she was .... good for her! You gotta do what you gotta do, it's harmless enough.
