Kim Drops Sex Tape Lawsuit, Gets a Big Load of Cash

TMZ has learned that Kim Kardashian has dropped her lawsuit against Vivid Entertainment over the release of her sex tape with former BF, R&B artist Ray J ... who has now moved on to Whitney Houston.

The tape, which Vivid paid a million dollars for, is now a bestseller in adult video stores and online markets. Vivid's co-chairman tells TMZ, "We are pleased that Kim has dropped her legal action against us, we met with her several times and finally reached a financial arrangement that we both feel is fair." Sounds like they're bosom buddies now.

According to UsMagazine.com Kardashian will receive close to $5 million in the settlement.

But this is a limited time offer folks, as sources tell us Vivid will permanently cease distribution of the tape at the end of May.

32. OH PLEASE!!! This "lawsuit" was always a fake from the beginning, just to build curiousity and make people want to go out and buy the porno sex tape. She neer intended to sue them. She always intended to distribute it and get the $$. Vivid and Kim were in on it together from day one.

They think we are all stupid.

33. I'm really dissappointed that of all people to do a sex tape with she did it with Ray-J.
Ugh, he's hideous to me.
Whenever i think about Kim i think of how beautiful she is [say what you will] & yes i know she's had plastic surgery but she works it!

I also hate how she is going to be known for this sex tape instead of her clothing store called Dash.

39. so apparently Ray J had a damn party for the release of the tape..wtf?!?
all of you are quick to call her a damn whore but not quick to call Ray J anything..
Also i saw on ET that he made a cd for the video & included voicemessages from Kim..

Ray-j is a pig. Anybody should be allowed to do whatever they want behind closed doors. Even normal people do sex tapes. Ray-j is a pig wanting to get famous from it & throwing a damn party...loser.

40. Does she really think that people actually believe that she tried to block the tape from release? Wow! People who graduated from 90210 zip code area high schools really aren't too bright, are they. Her 15 minutes is up already. Go away, loser! No one gave a rat's ass about your attempt at making a name for yourself by "organizing the stars'"closets that you pathetically featured in the tabloid magazines and they wont' care about this either. 41. I'd be VERY surprised if she got anything close to a million, let alone 5. The tape wasn't that popular - because very few people know who Kim Kardashian is. Also, Vivid head honcho Hirsch is notoriously tight with a buck, except when it comes to buying himself cars or nose candy.
