Lets Get This Party Started
Roseanne -- The New Rosie?

Roseanne BarrRoseanne Barr is being touted as the leading loudmouth to replace Rosie O'Donnell on "The View," according to sources this morning.

With Rosie on her way out in just a couple months, the brassy Barr has emerged as the candidate to beat, says the New York Post, though Joan Rivers, Whoopi Goldberg, Kathie Lee Gifford, and Connie Chung are also in the running. With Rosie leaving, says an ABC source, "they're missing strong personalities, and that's what they're going to need if they want to keep it going."

Indeed, as FOX News reports, Elisabeth Hasselbeck will be announcing today that she's about three months pregnant, so the peppy lightning-rod will also be off on leave sometime Roseanne Barr gallery: click to launch photosnext fall, leaving just Babwa and Joy Behar to do the talking. Barr's rep said she hadn't been approached.

Anna Nicole Speaks from the Grave

Anna Nicole Smit photosA trove of tapes in which Anna Nicole Smith talks about everything from her sex life with J. Howard Marshall to her troubled childhood is being shopped – in book form – and could strip away much of the mystique about the late bombshell's life.

Writer Joyce Wagner is shopping a tell-all tome based on hours of never-printed interviews, say Rush & Molloy, that took place in 1996 when Anna was bankrupt and just out of rehab. In the talks, she details some difficult times with her mother, Virgie Arthur, including allegations of abuse. (Arthur's lawyer didn't return the News' calls.)

Meanwhile, on a happier note, Smith talks about physical intimacy with her then-octogenarian husband J. Howard Marshall, saying that "he could not exactly satisfy me," but that he "never looked down at me."

Britney Tells All – to Allure?

She may be planning a tell-all bio, but first Britney Spears may be talking to Allure magazine about everything that's been going on in her life. According to Page Six, Vanity Fair is also vying for the big get, which will probably be on newsstands sometime around November, when she's due to drop her new album. Meanwhile, on the comeback trail, Britney's been planning some secret gigs in Hollywood, though she just cancelled on one last week.

136. We like Rosanne. The strong personality aspect and the wit she'll bring to the table should help "The View". We like Whoopi too, but she's another extreme leftist/quasi-socialist and those insane opinions are better relegated to the realm of the late night talkers because they make for good comedy.

137. IS LARRY BIRKHEAD BACK IN THE U.S YET?

138. If Kathy Lee Gifford take Rosies place on the View, I will change to another program.

139. Rosie/Roseanne.......you HAVE to be kidding. How about someone with CLASS. Those two are BOTH losers, not Whoopi or Star either. Why do they even NEED a replacement. This show is going down hill FAST.

140. NO ROSEANNE!! Get someone highly intelligent like Mrs. Imus or someone on her level. Barbara may be jealous but who cares.

141. Ok, don't make fun of me, but what about Marie Osmond to replace Rosie. Just a thought. I think Ms. Barr is funny but I don't like her views. Next choice would be Whoopi.

I'm tiered of hearing about Brittney.

142. Why don't you put up something everyday with a personal story about a soldier in Iraq....how they are living, how they are dying, the injuries...these people are far more important than Britney and Anna, and all the other stupid stuff you like to feed all of us. I am praying for all of them and their families. Show them some respect and honor. With all the stupid stuff you put up everyday you wouldn't even think we were at WAR!!! Maybe that is what you want.

143. Frankly I'm fed up hearing about ANS. My heart goes out to her friends and family and for their loss. I'm at a loss to recall anything she did that contributed to better mankind or to the Arts other than exposing herself. While our soldiers die in Iraq they hardly get a mention other than a statistic. The day ANS died you couldnt turn the tv on without seeing coverage about it. What did she give her life for?

144. C'mon people. Stop being so hateful..sheesh! And you all wonder why this country is the mess that it is...it's all from HATE! Blame who you want, but when you start hating everyone and everything around you (THINK about it) then you're going to be in a mess..
Anyway ..my post...Did anyone ever THINK that the reason why Britney went "over the edge" and has been doing the things she has been could be due to her LOSING her second baby and that's why no one has seen him? That would certainly make her act as whacked out as she has been and I know, I've lost a child. There is NO greater pain. I was watching the video just now and like a slap it hit me. I was AS bad, but I wasn't exactly the happiest bulb in the box when my son died. Before you bash hell out of her,at least consider the possibility. Many babies die at birth, others by SIDS. Sure it racks up the publicity by acting as Britney has..but just THINK about it. Especially if you have lost an infant. She is showing lots of behavioral signs I went through other than the partying since she can well afford it and most of us cannot. The rapid sweep of emotions is over whelming (which would cause her to make the snap judgement to shave her head). When you lost a child, many of us go into self-destruct mode. We haven't seen Jayden and Britney's sure been in that mode - you be the judge - and just in case - say a prayer for her. She MAY be suffering silently as so many people who were fans also "jumped ship" on her and perhaps was told by her managers to keep quiet. It's not unfathomable.
Didn't she just fire one? If this possibility happens to come public soon, just don't be surprised. On another note - Go Rosie! Perfect choice for the view! Dang she funny on her show in the 80s! Have a blessed day ~

147. Poor Barbara Walters, she set out to have a classy informative show and in my opinion it has turned into a catty fiasco. Nasty girls saying horrible things about people. A female Jerry Springer for the whos who in celebrity stew.

148. All I know is it will have to be a guest that I would REALLY want to see to watch the "View" again if Roseanne is the host.

149. ITS ALL ABOUT RATINGS AND YES ROSEANN WILL BE A GOOD CHOICE TO LOUD MOUTH HER FILTHY OPINONS.........

Posted at 11:23AM on Apr 30th 2007 by wayne

150. I think Roseanne or Whoopie would be an excellent choice! If the view selected Joan Rivers I most definately would never watch the show!!!! A couple years ago, in the middle of one of Joan Rivers comedy acts she noticed a handicap child in the front row who was deformed and DEMANDED they move him out of her site because she was so repulsed by him. This speaks volumn as to what type of person JOAN RIVERS is! She is a horrible person!
