Birkhead and Baby Back in Larry's Old Kentucky Home

Larry Birkhead is back -- finally -- on American soil with baby Dannielynn, and it sounds like he's ready to have some fun and, for his sake, eat some home cookin'

A distinctly gaunt Birkhead touched down in his hometown Louisville airport not long ago, and told our friends at WDRB FOX 41 in Louisville, "It just feels good to be home," adding that he's ready to "relax and horse around," which was appropriate enough given this Saturday's Kentucky Derby. He said he'll be heading to the Barnstable Brown party on Friday, which has particular meaning for him -- and his daughter -- as it's where he first met Anna Nicole Smith.

Birkhead shed a few tears as he spoke to reporters, but kept his baby, who has spent her entire life thus far in the Bahamas, shielded from view. He also wouldn't reveal whether he'll be staying in Louisville with Dannielynn, where his mother lives, or take her to his home base in Los Angeles.

"This is one pit stop," joked Birkhead.

46. 22. How can Larry afford a private jet or was it Access Hollywood's plane? I heard
there was a camera crew on board. How much is Larry being paid for all these
Access Hollywood interviews? It seems a little exploitive to me. Does every single
move or thought Larry has have to be chronicled? Time to disappear Larry...because
it's in the best interest of the child.

Do you really think Virgie's relatives are paying for her long stay in the Bahamas? She will fight as long as someone is paying the bills. Now people have stepped in to help the real FATHER out. She loves this. She thinks she is hot stuff. When the people who are financing her (to keep this crap going so they can report it) stop financing her, this will be over. Vergie is the troublemaker.

I really am happy for you and Danielynn.

But, remember how you had a hard time getting rid of Howard when you were living with Anna. I think you may need to be a little more direct. Try this:

"TAKE A HIKE HOWARD!"

It is time for Howard to take his chloral hydrate and grieve somewhere else.
Be careful! Remember, Anna's mother warned Anna to be careful? Well, I am a mother and a grandmother and I am telling you to be careful!

49. It's been a long journey but well worth it I'm sure. Make sure you keep the baby away from Snidley. Remember the jury is still out on his involvement with Daniel's death. Don't tarnish your image by hanging out with scum Remember Snidley not only tried to kill your baby once by giving drugs to Anna while she was pregnant. But he also did that with your 1st child together that she miscarried.

Shame on him for fooling you once....shame on YOU if he fools you twice. Take the $ you have made from the interviews and photo's, put it in a trust fund for Dannilynn and take a little time off.

Than go get a job so you can support " yourself ". I hope you don't plan on living off Dannilynn.

Your actions will tell us if we were right about your character , ethics and morals. Don't let us down. Good luck to you and ENJOY your daughter. She's just beauiful and without a mother she will need lots of love.

51. SAM - I think the same - he has been totally demoralized in all of this - no matter what he has - or not - done - he has lost alot - essentially his whole 'family' as he knew it - his life will never be the same again. That part is very sad I agree.

Larry has also lost alot as well.

54. 35. If any money goes to Anna's estate all debts and/or any outstanding legal proceedings that were filed against her the debt has to be paid first. When this is all over they probably wont be any funds left.

I am sure you are right. Anna was broke and I don't expect DL to inherit. Anna is dead, why would they give her family money?

55. i don't know about the rest of you but if i had been through what larry has been through for the last 7 months i think (no! i know) i would be very emotional too. larry must have felt like a huge weight was lifted off his shoulders when he finally arrived in louisville. from one kentuckian to another i'm really glad that larry has been able to bring his baby home. larry may live in ca but ky will always be home to him.

hopefully the bahamian courts will will go ahead and give him full custody in the next hearing in june and not drag this out any longer.
virgie has probably lost all credibility with the bahamian court after her appeal hearing where they fined her for basically wasting the courts time.

i'm sorry to say this but i have a feeling that when virgie doesn't get what she wants in the bahamas she will try the same thing in the united states. if i were larry i wouldn't be inclined to let her be a part of dannilynn's life after all the things she has done. remember in the fl court he told the judge that the more difficult hks made it to get the dna test and custody then the harder it would be for him to let hks be a part of dannilynn's life. i'm pretty sure he feels the same way about virgie now.

57. What is happening in the background? Any new statements from the lawyers, witnesses, etc.?

Somebody must know what the hell is really going on behind the scenes?

I worry about the baby. The inquest cannot be delayed. Questions must be answered.

58. I have seen a number of posts where people are claiming that Howierd is there with Larry. I watched the Access Hollywood footage of him boarding in the plane in the Bahamas, the Dannilynn has landed and the video on this post and I was specifically looking for Howierd. There was a dark haired guy in a black T shirt, that was not him. He could have been mistaken for him because he was in the background and was only on screen a few seconds. I looked for Howierd and couldn't find him.

60. I live in Louisville Kentucky the call letters for Fox 41 here are WDRB just wanted to be sure it was reported correctly. I hope that Larry and Dannielynn will now be very happy and their lives will have a certain amount of peace and quiet.
