33. Regardless-
My brother in law travels a lot for work as does my sister. They are lucky enough to both be able to schedule alternative off time to stay home with their kids. He is a very happy dad and loves being able to alternate care of their kids.

Those who come here and label Brad as a babysitter are unable to accept, are in complete denial, that BRAD PITT IS A DAMM PROUD AND HAPPY FATHER OF FOUR CHILDREN. He appears satisfied and content as he now has his heart's desire, a family with kids. My only question is just how many little Jolie-Pitts will this family have? I'm guessing maybe 6-7 total.

34. Adoption and transitioning to the new family is very hard on children. They need "stability" and a transition period. It seems that they adopted Pax and just a short time later were back on the road. I believe there is the obligation to their own family "first" ........ before spending all of the time on the road.

I admire what they do, but there should be more time for their "own" children.

Selfish? I dont think that these people are selfish. If she was doing this for Media - selfish reasons, then I am sure that they would NOT go through the trouble of taking them everywhere -- they would just leave them at home and go on with their lives....

36. Hey we all know how movie actors kids end up! Drugs and rehab. Maybe they might have a chance if they had a stable home life, (ie... same place every night, same friends to play with). Adults might be better at change but kids do have a harder time with it.

42. Alternate parent = the other parent. As in TWO parents. These days the man is as actively involved in child rearing as the woman, particularly when both work. They also parent together when neither in on a set, making amazing money, much of which goes to charities.
It may not be your way, but it's their way, and is just fine.

Babysitting is done by an outside person. Shiloh is Brad's, as well as the others as he has adopted them. They are all as much his as Angelina's. I gather you are operating under the assumption that childrearing is the woman's responisibility. I thought that thankfully ended in the '60's, but if that's your view of how it should be done, then you go do what you think is right for YOUR family. That approach can work well too.

45. Seems to me Brad and Jen announced their split a few months before he hooked up publicly with Ange. Also, the institution of marriage is usually entered into because there's an inherent promise of children in the future. Respecting marriage works both ways. If Ange tempts men, if you're religious, then it's God who made her beautiful. Not one person on this board has any clue as to whether or not hanky panky happened pre-split, and if you are a God fearing person, then you know as well not to judge or cast stones. They have both stated repeatedly that they did not get together as a couple until months after Brad & Jen split. All they have is their word, and they gave it, over and over again, even though they owe no one they don't know personally any explanation. They can do no more. It's a done deal, and it's their deal and no one else's.
