Momjaya Starring in the Bong Show

Momjaya and a bong. Sanjaya Malakar's mom -- who's already served jail time for some serious pot production -- could be in more hot legal bongwater after this photo of her was snapped at a Hollywood party in March.

In the shot, obtained by the National Enquirer, the Momjaya appears to be holding what is euphemistically called a hookah pipe and a lighter. According to a source cited by the Enquirer, the 41-year-old Blyth could be in more trouble if this picture suggests that "she's continuing to break the law," especially because, says the paper, she was sentenced under 12 months of "community supervision" as part of her felony conviction on drug charges in 2005 that required her to be drug-free.

On the other hand, says the Enquirer, her legal case was officially closed last year, and as a result, everything might be totally mellow for Blyth.

32. I Wonder how this woman became Sanjaya mom? She don't look like she birth him. She's needs to be careful of what she does. Hopefully Sanjaya don't get affected by all this trash gossip on his mom. I adored him as young man with a whole lot class and a million dollar smile.

That black hand touching Momjaya's bong belongs to Brandon Rogers. That party was at his house. He probably leaked the story too. Either him or Chris Sligh. They both hate Sanjaya's guts for outlasting them.

The pot-smoking certainly explains why so many of them are forgetting their words this season. LOL.

Momjaya is an unfit parent. No wonder her daughter works at Hooters and her son is a mess. Momjaya is a drug addict and drug dealer. Partying with the 20-something American Idols while her two children are left by themselves. Sound familiar? She's re-living her youth as a toking hippie.

Watch out Sanjaya. Your drugwhore mommy is gonna ruin your life.

38. #2 I agree.....Legalize it, don't despise it. It is safer than alcohol. I've never heard of someone killing someone while driving high, they might drive slowly and that is about it. But alcohol kills. Pot is grade for medical purposes too.

41. That is NOT a hooka pipe, it is a BONG and you don't smoke flavored tobacco out of a bong. I had the exact same one 25 years ago in high school.

44. I've had it. Completely had it. There is a contestant who does not sing particularly well on Idol every single year. None of them - NONE - have gone through the level of abuse and revilement and personal attack that this poor boy has had to endure. I am now officially really offended and angry. Leave him alone. Leave his sister alone. Leave his mother alone. Even if he really were a singer as bad as William Hung, he would not deserve the horrific level of crap he's gotten from the media. Since I don't think he was even the worst top 12 contestant this year, and he's so terribly young, I'm finding this is becoming nightmarish. It needs to stop.

45. It doesn't matter so much whether the lady smokes pot or not. What is relevent is that she allowed herself to be photographed with a bong knowing that her son was in the public's eye and trying to get his chance in life. As a Mom she shouldn't be doing anything that could open Sanjaya up to public scrutiny. I am a fan of Sanjaya.
