77. I LOVE WATCHING THE GILMORE GIRLS. LOVE HOW FAST THEY TALK BACK AND FORTH AND THE QUIRKY THINGS THEY DO!!! I THINK IT'S GREAT!! LAST SEASON WAS NOT GREAT BUT I WATCHED EVERY SHOW!!! I THINK IT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE HAVING LORELEI MARRY CHRIS HE JUST DOESN'T FIT IN.
RORY SHOULD MARRY LOGAN AND MOVE AWAY TO START THEIR LIFE TOGETHER THAT WOULD BE A GREAT ENDING. WITH LUKE AND LORELEI CRYING ON EACH OTHER BECAUSE RORY IS ALL GROWN UP.
LUKE AND LORELEI MUST GET BACK TOGETHER BEFORE THE SHOW ENDS!!!
THEY JUST HAVE TO!!!!!

78. I dont know what u guys are talkin bout, i enjoyed the past two seasons just as much as the other ones! its a total shame to cancel such a great show...i wish it would go on forever:( lol! I guess ill have to live Gilmore through reruns!

81. I agree with Chrissy (#26) - the show jumped the shark WAY too many times to be real - and I haven't even been watching the most recent season (I'm watching the painful reruns on ABC Family, however)

You know you jumped the shark when:

- the last two seasons ended with the main characters getting into a huge fight (sleeping with Dean and dropping out of Yale)
- they add a dog to the mix for comic relief
- a long-lost relative comes out of the woodwork
- someone gets married
- someone has a baby

I really loved the show before it became constantly about Logan doing stupid boy things and Rory standing by him no matter what, and Lorelai walked around for like four episodes completely morose, muttering only the phrase, "It's not gonna happen" (referring to her marriage to Luke).

I think it's time to put the show out of its misery. Too bad. It really was great, until the last two seasons came along.

82. I am very disappointed that the show is ending... It's the one night a week that I spend with my Mom and now I don't know what we'll watch together... Good bye Gilmore Girls :-(

83. I love the show! I will sorely miss it! I started watching this show with my oldest daughter. I was a single mom at the time and our relationship is almost exact to Rory and Lorelai. My oldest daughter is my Rory and I'm her Lorelai! I am thankful for the show. It really helped us through some rough spots and helped us to endure and perservere! We would watch feeling every emotion and situation as though we ourselves were being mimicked!

Thank you for the memories - I'll enjoy the reruns for sure!! I was disappointed that the show went away from Luke and Lorelai - went to Rory's sperm donor - that was my only disappointment! Luke and Lorelai belong together!

I will miss them - but again - will enjoy the reruns~!

84. So Sad, my 13 year old and I have really bonded with this show, even though it's just a character, rory has become her role model, at least we have the re-runs on DVD, i guess we will watch them on tuesday night's til she goes to college.

86. I KNOW THE LAST TWO YEARS WENT IN A DIRECTION THAT WASN'T QUITE GILMORE..I MEAN LORALEI AND LUKE TOOK ON COMPLETELY DIRFFERENT PERSONALITIES...THEY WOULD NEVER ACT THAT WAY.. BUT I CAN'T IMAGINE THAT THEY ARE GOING TO BE ABLE TO END IT RIGHT IN ONLY 2 SHOWS.. IT 'S GOING TO LEAVE A BITTER TASTE IN THE MOUTH OF THOESE WHO HAVE WATCHED AND LOVE THE SHOW FOR ALL THOSE YEARS!! PLEASE , AT LEAST THINK ABOUT BRINGINGIT BACK ONE MORE YEAR WITH THE RIGHT MINDSET..THE GILMORE MIND SET!

87. Well, i am sad to see the girls go, but i stopped watching the show after loralie split again with Chris after getting married!!! Finally i thought now the show can go in a different direction, you know some new stuff!!! Than, she starts up with Lucas crap again and chris splits. That's when i changed the channel and never went back. Sorry girls, i know you don't write the stuff, but at least try and say, come on writers, i am totally bored with the same crap every week!!! Good luck in your careers girls. I am sure you will do well!!!

88. I REALLY WISH THAT THEY WOULD DO A SEASON EIGHT. JUST TO MAKE THEY CLOSURE EASIER AND MAKE THE FINALLY ENDING THAT MUCH BETTER. LIKE 90210 ENDING WITH DONNA AND DAVID FINALLY GETTING MARRIED. AT LEAST THIS WAY THEY MIGHT END IT WITH A DOUBLE WEDDING AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER ENDING. LET'S AT LEAST HOPE IT ENDS HAPPILY. THE LORELAI CHARACTER DESERVES IT.
