79. I take it as a compliment to Taylor's class that he didn't draw the paparazzi like the skanky Britney. It makes me ashamed to admit we come from the same state. She dissed the people here for being too redneck yet had the audacity to flash the world her naughty bits.

As far as Taylor, he's doing just fine. He's far from idle and doing what he loves. He was voted the most well mannered celebrity and Britney was voted the worst. So, because you were bummed at having to miss a possible flashing you take it out in your "review" of the show.

And to all the Chris fans who used Taylor's known fans screen names to diss Taylor that is right up there with trashy Britney. You all are skanks.

80. Wow....Chris fans have nothing better to do during the day than come on the 'net and bash Taylor.

While us Taylor fans are out there having a GREAT time listening to his record, going to his shows, talking with other GREAT fans!!!!

No worries Soul Patrol.....Taylor's career is a LOOOONG career...not a flash in the pan career. In 10 yrs we'll all still be going to his shows, liotening to his records and still gabbing with all the friends we've made along the way!!!!

81. Taylor is nothing but a joke and his dellusional fans are no better. They got him the win on AI, but now he can't even get the radio stations to play his song. The guys going to "officially" be the biggest failure in AI history soon, and the rest of the worlds going to be laughing at him and the SP. I know I already am.

82. I started out as one of the ones who voted for Hicks last year, even considered myself part of the Soul Patrol, BUT you're never old to learn. Taylor has been a huge disappointment to many of us.

His attitude is the biggest disappointment. I have read countless articles abt journalists who finally get a few minutes to interview him only to be told at the last minute that the time was cut in half or just wasn't gonna happen. I have also read numerous stories of him being rude to his own fans. I think what little success that came with the title went straight to his head.

Most disappointing has been his lack of sales because he put out a terrible cd. He himself has said the cd is HIS product. Well, he should have listened to others and put out something that sounded more like he did on the show. It won't surprise me at all when his record company sends him packing.

Just sign me "former Soul Patroler"

85. Wait...so Taylor's a failure because news outlets know there's like zero chance of him wigging out onstage, shaving his head, or flashing his private parts to the audience? No, wait, don't tell me; cameras were capturing Britney's comeback because she's a talented artiste who is going to redefine the music industry. Certainly not because all those camera crews were hoping there'd be another Britney meltdown to capture on tape.

It's nice to know that success in the music industry is now being determined by how many hack websites are filming one's concert. I mean, to HELL with Taylor sold-out concert roster, devoted fanbase, or inherent talent; it's tabloid coverage that REALLY determines how "successful" an artist is, baby! Hmm. But hey, here I am, feeding the fire by actually adding a comment to this rag. I guess that just makes me part of the problem.

86. American Idol can not be blamed for a crazed group of over the top fans voting for Taylor Hicks! The SP and Vote for the Worst who picked Hicks as their poster boy, stole the win from truly talented contestants such as Daughtry, Kat and Elliot. Dang even Bucky and Kellie are more talented than Hicks.

But just because you WIN does not mean your a Winner. Hicks looks like a fool. He will go down as the lowest selling Idol of all time. His single is not played anywhere real. His CD is laughable bad.

All 3500 of the SP voted 35 thousand times each with skype and go phones to get Hicks the win. But they just made him look like a fool. The Ford Commercial yuck, Dr. Phil double yuck. It is a shame a real shame that Idol does not control voting so the Hicks and Sanjyas get the boot early.

But Season 5 showed that those with Talent will rise after being booted and a winner with no talent will sink like a stone

87. Taylor Hicks is great and happy doing what he wants. He is a great performer, entertainer, musician and singer, total charisma and package. Don't worry about him he'll be fine. It's too bad the media like you can only thrive on disgusting comments. Rueben is also happy and I'll bet happier than the one who wrote this article. Chris Daughtry lost and was in the bottom three two or three times, get the picture. The only difference is that Simon wanted him to win and had a plan for him. After all he is the puppet of the day, turning over tons of his profits to American Idol. In this category, I say Taylor Hicks is the winner.

88. Taylor doesn't attract the same fans that Britney Spears does (thank goodness!!) so that is irrelevant. I just wish TMZ had been at the Beacon Theatre in NYC on April 20th, and they would have seen a show they would not soon forget!! Taylor was unbelievable and had the entire sold out audience on its feet from the minute he walked on the stage to the last encore!! The place rocked for the entire 90 minutes and no one ever sat down for a secord.
Taylor rocked the entire time and never took a breath, and neither did any of us in the audience remember to breath while he entertained us like we've never been entertained before!!! I really don't care what other singers are doing.....I only care what Taylor is doing!!!
Taylor has left an impact on his fans.....so much so that none of us watch American Idol anymore because they don't give him the respect he deserves for bringing them their highest ratings last year. This year Idol needs to have "charity" shows, big name artists, and contests to get people to watch.....last year we all watched so we could see Taylor!!! Well, we have Taylor, and we're thrilled to have him as our American Idol, but the Idol show will have to keep pulling every trick in the book to get people to watch their show because the show peaked last year when Taylor won!!! They'll never "discover" another talent like him so they might as well give up now!!!

90. TMZ staff - Where in the world were you last night, it certainly was not at Taylor's concert at the Grove? You must be talking about Britney's concert. I was at Taylor's concert last night alondg with the sell-out crowd hooping and hollering and swaying and dancing and screaming during the entire concert as was the rest of the crowd. We finally brought him back with a long standing invitation and he performed even stronger, owning the stage with his fantastic band and playing the guitar and singing and dancing as no one has since Elvis. If you would like, I will send you some eyeglasses, (how many pair do you need?) and some ear wax to unplug your ears (how many bottles do you need?) It is sad to me that the untrue comments you made will be read by people who did not have the one of a kind experience Taylor's fans had last night being with him and going to another world with his non-stop energy and talents and I won't go on any further, need too many words to describe Taylor.
He is - 100% gold+......(I think that is the highest you can go)
Carolle - 67 years young red haired Avon lady from Redondo Beach, Ca......I have to add something. The young lady I went with (age 45,) is now "Tailorized" and we had a discussion that anyone did not feel Taylor and what he does to the Heart and Soul, probably has never had incredible sex and know how you can be rocked to your depth with incredible feelings. Sad that you and these people have missed out on life and the wonders all around us.....
