City Attorney on Paris: "No One Is Above the Law"

Rocky DelgadilloA rep for Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo has released a statement to TMZ in support of the decision to sentence Paris Hilton to 45 days in jail.

"City Attorney Delgadillo believes today's ruling sends a clear message that in the City of Los Angeles, no one is above the law."

16. Don't feel bad for her, she brought this on herself and even made things worse than they had to be. At least nobody lost their life due to her driving drunk...could have ended badly. Maybe others will think twice now...?

{u EXISTING LAW u} :

1)Provides that for each six-day period in which a prisoner is
confined in or committed to the county jail, two days shall be
deducted from the period of confinement if the prisoner has
satisfactorily performed labor as assigned and complied with
the rules and regulations ("good-time" participation credits).
(Penal Code Section 4019.)

I'm not saying what I did was right, but 3 years ago I got my 4th DUI in Colorado and Late in 2006 I was given 14 days in jail with good trime I served 7 plus time credit from the day I was arrested I actually only spent 4 days in jail. Two years after my sobriety date. All the othres were probation and I lost my license for a total of 1 year.

27. Rocky Delgadillo...what a name! He will probably be running for governor in about 5-10 years. As for "No one is above the law", aparently OJ is, and he is down in Churchill Downs partying with The Queen of England at the Kentucky Derby.
