17. It is very sad... (i was just on a plane i felt could go down any minute!) this is the risk we all take with flying, driving,,etc.....

I have to agree though with 'mom' that it is highly unlikely Jay-Z would be going from Georgia to Vegas in a Cessna...........AND there is no other news anywhere involving this plane crash & Jay-Zs name...

23. #6 I totally agree with you but I think this is a publicity stunt. NO ONE else is reporting it and family notificaiton or not, a plane crash involving anyone of celebrated status gets air time on the wires.

24. AVERY'S CREEK – Three people died today when a small plane crashed in the Avery’s Creek community, said Skyland Fire Chief Dennis Pressley.

The Cessna 182 disappeared from radar around 11 a.m. today.

Emergency crews say the crash site is a few miles from the command post that has been set up at the Walnut Cove overlook off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Media members waiting at the command post have not been allowed access to the crash site but are expected access later this afternoon.

The flight was coming to Asheville Regional Airport from Dublin, Ga.

"Air traffic control lost contact with the plane about 1.5 miles northwest of the airport," said Kathleen Bergen, spokeswoman for the Federal Aviation Administration in Atlanta.

Emergency officials have set up a command center on Ball Gap Road. The wreckage site is in a densely wooded area.
